With a snap he had the gloves on and his fingers wiggling before they drew out his wand. Yes, he was excited. Very much so. It reminded him of camping all over again and that was something he dearly missed. Another grin was shot over to Arya before he pointed his wand and touched it to the wood, starting out with 'Intaglo'. Then, with a bit of a bounce he began the incantation, using the words as one of the beats he had danced with Arya to. "Thurisaz-Thurisaz-Thurisaz...Thurisaz-Thurisaz...Thurisaz, Thurisaz-Thurisaz...Thurisaz, Thurisaz, Thurisaz..." And the run may have been starting to come out a bit more wonky as if it itself was set to dancing upon the wood. At least it was happy, if not a little sloppy?
Arya fan of any of safety gear, and goggles and gloves were no exception. She wouldn't object in class though, knowing the professor was only looking out for her and the rest of the student's safety. Hopping off of her seat, she moved to the man's desk and retrieved her safety equipment. Moving back to her seat, she slid back onto the seat and placed her equipment on the table, eyes flicking to Sabel and a grin spreading across her face when he took up a seat beside her.
"It like wood shop." But with magic.
His excitement was infectious as she soon found herself more excited about carving her wood than she had been before. Sliding her goggles on her face, and the gloves on her hands, she placed her wood in one hand and wand in the other. She found her legs swinging idly as she touched her wand to the wood, saying the incantation to the same beat Sabel was using.
"Intaglio Ehwaz ehwaz ehwaz ehwaz ehwaz..." She didn't know if it was because runes wasn't her best subject, or because she was distracted by numerous things....but her rune wasn't looking like a rune. Did runes have curves?
