I want it correctly transcribed into runic and I want you to do your research AND cite your sources. If you don't, I believe I'll have ten of your house points, and a weekend detention with you." He paused. "And will you be joining him, Neptune?"
He turned his attention to the class itself.
"We're going to get started on the carving. There are two ways to carve runes and to make them magical. One is with your wand, and one is without. Does anyone have a preference as to which they'd like to learn, or would you perhaps like to hear both and choose which you'd like to do?"
Lowering her hand, Sierra gave the professor a small smile when he commented on her suggestion. Suddenly, she was liking Ancient Runes more and more. The whole idea of those teeny-tiny symbols that meant
Merlin knew what weren't so scary to her anymore. Not
so scary--but still scary, nonetheless.
She was also glad she wasn't that James kid.
A whole essay?! Not just an essay either, but an essay transcribed into
runes! With all those answers he had been giving during that whole runes war, though, Sierra had a feeling something like a runes essay was likely easy for him. She made a mental note for
herself, however, to
never ask to leave class early, especially not in Ancient Runes!
At least it was time to start the carving, though! That was a positive note. For the people who didn't have to write an essay, at least.
"I vote for hearing both and then choosing which one to do, Professor," she said, her hand high in the air once again. Why? Because she wanted to go with whichever method was easiest, of course!
"I like to keep my options open," she added.
