This was even worse than she'd imagined it to be! No, no, not the teaching, and not the man up there doing the teaching. It was the material! Sierra didn't even attempt to nod along in understanding as she listened to the professor talk about the A-B-C's, or whatever they were called in Ancient Runes. She felt herself slowly sinking down into her chair as she thought about the class she'd voluntarily signed up for. It was optional for now, right!?

Nevertheless, she'd gotten the first answer correct. Or, rather, she'd given a good deduction, as the professor had put it, on some other kid's answer. To add to all that, they were apparently skipping the boring stuff, so maybe there was hope for her after all.

...maybe. Only time would tell, of course.
