Jim listened to Truebridge-the-fight-breaker-upper and smirked at the warning he gave Finn. Heh. Yeah. It was TOTALLY Finn's fault.

He didn't open the book. He did raise his hand though.
Something he knew about Runes. Hmmm. "There are three main uses for runes. A writing system, an oracle of the future and for natural and elemental magic."
That'd do. He figured others would say about the same thing.
Pause.
"And... yes, they're useful."
