But he should be, shouldn't he? He was like a guard, after all, and they should be on that side a little.

"I don't think so..." he answered the question. Why having a man managing a huge school when he had no experience and whatsoever about it? Managing a school was very different than anything else, and he couldn't see the ministry making a mistake like that. "Maybe he wanted to be close to the headmaster and didn't know where to sit?" He shrugged. No big deal, was it? It was just a chair, after all...

He nodded again. "Yes, only my brain was so tired that I slept for a good ten hours." And then, here he was, with her, totally alone. Gotta love first days of school and nothingness.

Running a hand through his hair again, he said "They were extremely excited, of course, and proud. I think even the people of Micronesia learnt I was a prefect," he said with a small chuckle. He skipped the part where his mother also cried. That was too girlie for a sixteen-year-old teenage, and surely not something to mention to a pretty girl.

"How about yours?" he asked as he kicked a small stone on the floor. Shame he hadn't brought his ball with him.
When the foreigners were here during the Triwizard tournament a security guard would have been a nice asset but now it was just a bit like why is he here? The tournament had its sad history but nothing had happened at last year’s event. "I think he IS scary. If it’s an image thenn it is a very believable one." Sophie wasn’t planning on meeting the Ikenna man unless she had to for some reason.

Evan had a valid point that maybe Mr Ikenna had just felt a bit out of place and wanted to sit close to the man who was in charge of the school at the feast. He had after all also held a short but confusing speech after the headmaster shrugging Sophie said "Maybe, Professor Vindictus wasn’t very happy though." A chair was just a chair but the staff did have their designated seats so if someone were to upset that order people were generally upset.

The topic shifted to their first day as prefects and Sophie couldn’t help but giggle warmly at Evan’s comment. "I could have slept for a good 10 hours too if it hadn’t been for my kneazle who decided that I needed to be licked in the face early in the morning." Oliver the kneazle was not known for his great timing.

Sophie listened Evan mentioned his parent’s reaction to his prefect badge. They had been excited and proud not unlike her own parents. "My parents were shocked at first. Then proud and happy, my mum even shed a few tears of joy since she had hoped that I’d become a prefect."
