Huhwhatt?! Date..? Did she hear correctly? Alex just said date?! She couldn't hold back the grin that was stretching across her face. "Date?" She asked, making sure that's actually what he said. "Date, yeah. It's a date! She said, trying (and failing) to hide her enthusiasm. Keeep your cool, kid. "So... When shall we have this date?" She asked with a wink. Y'know because to go on a date, a date needs to be chosen to date on. Date, date, daaaaaate! He said date! [/ecstatic]

She blinked, still smiling. Yes, she remembered when he told her he'd take her to New York, but that was the day they met. She didn't really know if he was serious. But he was! Right...? "Wow. I can't wait, then. I bet it's beautiful!" She said blushing a little. Oh stooopp. How great would it be to tour New York with Alex? Answer: aammaazziinngg.

She felt like jumping up and down and tackling Alex in a bear hug. But that wouldn't be mature, would it? And Ellie was very mature. "Yeah, that is good then, isn't it?" She said trying not to blush again. You know, I still believe what I said in Knockturn Alley to be true. About you..."
She said, smiling.
Alex really wanted to know how Ellie saw this date. Was it in a friend kind of way or more than friends kind of way? It was all very mysterious. So when should they have it? "The sneaking out?" he asked and glanced towards that man by the staff table. Ik.. Ikan... Ikea, something. Perhaps Ellie and him had run into enough weird types together. "How about we do it by the rules this time?" he chuckled looking back at her. Well at least almost by the rules that was as far as he could go. He would try. "That means, no running into weird men that steal locks from your hair." because really, who wanted that?

"Yeah, I mean you'd fit right in." he smiled before he could stop himself. Oh no... That sounded so totally cheesy. He hadn't meant to say it really he just blurted stuff out at random when he was with Ellie. He wouldn't really be surprised if he started yelling old quidditch results all of a sudden, he just did really weird things when she was near him. "I mean with the um... buildings..." alright he had tried to make up for the cheesiness but it just got worse. Why did he start talking about buildings right after he'd told her she was beautiful? Eh... Merlin only knows.

He plopped down on the bench next to her grinning at a few Ravenclaw firsties that looked terrified at the appearances of a Slytherin by their table. "Don't worry blue birds, I don't bite." he smiled reaching over to snatch a grape. "Much..." he added low before returning his fully attention to Ellie. "What you said about me in Knockturn Alley?" Hmm... What was that now? "That you'll win a tickle fight?" he scoffed and laughed. "Oh please Ellie that will never happen." He was The Tickle Monster.
