Eben was able to smile slightly at the boy's surprise that it could actually be his hair. It was interesting to see someone with such a extensive imagination. Coming from a family of literals, Eben never found it easy to do anything much creative. His sister had suggested an art class when he came to visit during the summer, but Eben was sure that he was going to make up an excuse of being with Esme to skip out of that.
"Hi Eino, I'm Eben." the sixth year said with a little wider smile. "Glad I could be of some help." Huh, that was a weird feeling. Accomplishment in helping someone else. Well what better way to use one's intellect than to problem solve. Makes the mind sharper.
"It's nice to meet you, Mr. Eben." How curious that both of their names started with E and had four letters, also they also shared an n! "What year are you, Mr. Eben?" The boy looked significantly older than Eino, so perhaps he was a fifth or seventh year. Most of Eino's friends were second years, like himself, and a few first years, so it was nice meeting upperclassmen. This one in particular definitely had a Ravenclaw's mind. "I'm only a second year, but soon I shall be older, too." Even though Eino was a second year he was still only eleven years old, since his birthday was at the end of the year he was usually the youngest of his class, which he was indifferent to. "Also," Eino said lifting a finger as an idea popped in his head, "you ought to join my club and help us capture pogrebins!"
