Great witch? Lexi? Yeaaaah. She was great at some things. Like DADA and Transfiguration. But that was about it. Giving that shrug she said, "Thanks for saying so, but I have a LOT of work to do before the exams." It was true. She had spent time away from the school... time with more boys on her mind than studies... She was in trouuuuuble.
IT dawned on her finally. Digging in the bag that she still had slung over her shoulder, Lexi fished out a pink handkerchief and offered it to Alice.
Alice smiled at Lexi, glad to have her support. She stifled a little sob and gave a watery smile as Lexi squeezed her knee.
"I suppose it is better to let it out than keep it in. I just trying to suppress it can be easier than admitting how hurt and mad I am." Alice let out a little chuckle at Lexi's comment about still needing to do a lot of work. Her brows furrowed in curiosity as Lexi rummaged through her bag before returning to their normal spot as Lexi handed her a pink handkerchief.
"Thanks," Alice said with another wet smile before bending down to give Lexi a big hug. Taking the handkerchief she dabbed what was left of her tears.
