Reverse psychology... that was what all of this was. Jake had read about it and now he was SURE he was right.
He knew one thing. Lafay was always going to be a prized cow. He wouldn't waste his time with her, and he WOULD use the potions laboratory, and he WOULD brew what he wanted and he WOULD ask her questions.
Knowing it was a terrible habbit, but not liking the stiffness of his hand, Jake cracked the knuckles on his left hand, and then those on his right.

With that, Jake pushed his glasses back onto his face and stood.
"Thanks again. I'll see you soon... hopefully under non-painful circumstances but I somehow doubt it. So... see you around the time of Quidditch try-outs."
