Looking down she realized she didn't have her robes on. Oopsies. It always took her a while before she got back into the habit of wearin them anywhere aside from class. Shrugging to herself she smiled back up at Jim and returned his wave.
"I must admit that I am a little nervous, Jim. I haven't duelled in three years. I refused to do it. I am probably utter rubbish at it now," she said honestly. Her smile did not wilt... it was the truth. She needed to practice to get better and what a coincidence... she could work out some of that pent up anger. Hehe.
"Yeah because I want to be responsible for Lexi Denver rocking around breaking faces. Its bad enough that I do it." Hehe. It wasn't HURTING others that he liked when it came to fighting or dueling or anything like that, it was letting off steam, letting out the pent up energy and maybe burning a bit of that testosterone that fueled him in excess sometimes.
"Mmm yeah, you probably are rubbish." He agreed casually, but there was a twinkle in his eyes when he said that. "I haven't really had a proper duel in ages either, so no worries." Though too, up until Hogwarts happened the only dueling opponents he'd ever had were adults.
It was actually kind of awesome since you usually learned a lot more by losing than you did by winning... but if you asked him? He'd say he won 'em all.
