"A week? Ok a week." He could do a week. It was just going to be like a field trip or something. Yes a field trip. Then he could go home to his mummy and daddy. "But if the food keeps appearing, I can't eat it." Nope. He could not eat magical food. Wasn't allowed.
"Do you like superheroes, Conan?" yeah, he was changing the subject for a moment, perhaps if what he had planned worked out, then he'd stop thinking about the food.
And, mmmm, perhaps it would be a good idea for Treyen to make sure there was food at the Great Hall before Conan entered, so he wouldn't happen to see it appear out of thin air.
"A week," he smiled, but he was absolutely concerned for his savior,
"Conan...if I make you a sandwich...will you eat it?" at least he had to eat something, right? Unfortunately, Treyen couldn't much more than sandwiches...though...does Kurumi cook?
