Wake up. Eben blinked sleepily down at his food, thinking that he mumbled to himself those two words but realising that it was all in his mind. Shaking his head, the boy looked about for the pot of coffee. Hopefully a cup of caffeine would wake him up enough out of this constant daydream.
Looking up, Eben saw a boy waving his arm at him and arched a brow. Having never met this person before, and being a relatively quiet and private person since arriving at Hogwarts a year ago, he found it curious that this boy wanted to get his attention.
"Uhm, yes?" he asked, wondering if he sounded too rude. It was sort of a problem for him. The lack of being around people his own age had certainly took a toll on Eben's social life.
When the boy finally looked his way, Eino slid closer to him, still holding the goblet in his right hand. He was at a very short, and slightly uncomfortable, distance from the boy when he presented him the goblet and began inquiring. "Look inside this goblet, do you see a hair? Do you suppose it's a house-elf hair? Do you suppose it has magical properties? Do you suppose it's a potion? Do you suppose I will acquire elf magic if I drink this? Or what else do you suppose will happen? And how do you suppose it got there?" Eino said it all without pausing and on one single breath, leaving him breathless when he was finally over. Perhaps an older and more knowledgeable Ravenclaw would have all the answers. He realized he had forgotten to ask whether house-elves had hair or not, but he didn't want to interrupt the boy's thinking process. Eino looked very puzzled himself. He took another good look at the hair then showed it to the boy a second time. If this was a house-elf hair he would most certainly have to keep it as a potential potion ingredient.
