Ruby made her way to the Gryffindor table (that was was the right one, wasn't it?) and slumped down on the bench. This place had to be more boring that a prison, if that was possible. I mean, she definitely wasn't going to classes, puh-lease, and everyone here seemed to not be her type. Why had her father had made her come here?!
Angrily, she stuck a fork in some eggs and then groaned loudly.
Evangeline walked into the Great Hall, and glanced around. There weren't very many people sitting at the Slytherin table, and none that she yet knew. So she walked down towards the other tables, in search of someone that she knew, not that there were really that many so far. Not finding anyone she knew, Evangeline decided to sit down at the Gryffindor table near a girl that didn't look very happy. "I have to say, you look rather bored." She pointed out, her american accent showing, of course.
