Dallin laughed at her enthusiasm, and nodded just as energetically. At her reasoning, he grinned. "Exactly, I don't know why I ever doubted it," he joked with a wink. Of course looks weren't really part of the traits of Ravenclaws, but Dallin would like to believe that, because it proved his opinion that he was extremely good-looking.
A flash catching his eye, he looked up to see the banner Satine had made. "Nice," he said appreciatively, nodding toward the banner with a smirk on his face.
Satine smiled at Dal,
"Well, yes just be ready because now that you're a Ravvie matched with your good looks, everyone will be staring at you everywhere you go." she said with a little giggle looking at the younger boy.
She turned and glanced at the banner and then turned around to face Dal,
"Thanks, did it do it's job by making you feel welcome yet?" she asked while cocking her head to the side.

"So I heard." He gestured around the room, having had watched her make the rounds, all excited and eager and, in Jimmy's view, entirely too... too... something. He grinned crookedly at her though and leaned forward a bit in his seat, offering his hand.

He watched her put the banner up and snorted quietly to himself in amusement. Surely the banner should say, 'too bad on not getting a better house, but you'll probably be okay.'
Satine looked at the boy and and took his hand as she cocked her head to the right studying his voice and face. She was sure that he was being pessimistic but she decided to just go with the flow of things. "
Well, nice to meet you. I guess I've never run into you at school, which is odd since we are both six years...did you transfer in?" she asked as he glanced up at the banner. Satine sluffed her shoulder as she studied his body language and could tell inside he wasn't excited about it.
