Ellie turned and glared at the boy who had spoken. He'd been in some of her classes, she was pretty sure. Called himself 'Jimmy', didn't he. Pffft.
"And I intended to," she said, coldly. She would probably regret this unfriendly interaction later, when she was more herself. But it wasn't like he really cared or anything.

And she caught him looking at her and the other girl and GRINNING.
