Rafe went down the the Quidditch pitch to get in some extra practice before tryouts. He had to be in tip top shape if he wanted to out do his competitors. And the more practive the merrier. He was in full Quidditch gear and was wearing his new Keeper gloves he purchased in Diagon Alley. With his helmet secure he was ready to go with his new Romanian broom, The Fulger de Lumina 2000, or The Lightning Flash 2000, as it was known in England. It was one of the fastest brooms around these days and the entire Transylvania National Quidditch Team used them.

But, while most of his things were brand new and store bought. The quaffle he had under his arm wasn't. He'd been working on it for most of the summer. With the right spell it was programmed with over 500 different moves to try and score itself in the hoops. Rafe took his wand in his over hand and pointed it to the quaffle he sat on the ground. "Verto Custodis Modus!" he shouted and the quaffle darted up in the air and began flying towards the hoops and Rafe was on his broom zooming past it and getting there just in time to block the quaffles first attempt.
