He spotted Jake seated at the quiet (cant it get anymore quiet?) corner of the library, his face lit up from below, like one of those campfire storytellers about to tell a spine-tingling horror story. "Sup Jake" he uttered, as he sat himself opposite the Hufflepuff "So whats the lowdown?"
Heeeeeeeeere he was.
Jake gave the Slytherin a welcoming smile, shifting in his chair slightly, the better to talk. Sup?
"Nothing... you?"
That was the appropriate answer, right?
Yes, on to business.
"I doubt you've noticed, not knowing there is such an issue, but Treyen Lockhart seems to have... an issue with me," Jake explained, not letting the frustration of the matter show. He wrinkled his nose for a second to kind of shift his sunglasses up, even though they were already up enough.
"I want to know why. It bothers me, not knowing. So... I had a plan of some sort. Nothing against Hogwarts rules."
Merlin, no. It was too early for that.
Just yet.
"I think, anyway."
Jake waited to see any kind of reaction... perhaps he knew Treyen?
