Lexi smiled sweetly at her new fave Huffie. He was TOO flippin' precious. "I do have pets. I have a spectacled owl named Wasabi and a pygmy puff named Juniper," she said with a giggle. Juniper hated Ivan... it made Lexi laugh. She liked to bite and poop on everyone... the pygmy puff...not Lexi. That would be socially unacceptable in most cultures. Looking around the table in front of her she spotted the macaroni and passed it to the boy. "Ringo is your pet? What is he?" she asked. She wasn't sure he had said yet.
"That would be awesome! Two little guys hanging out when they get here... It would be nice to have someone that you know here with you at first." She hadn't known a soul here.
Preston carefully took the macaroni from Lexi and began to pile it into the small plastic container he had ready to take to Ringo. Preston nodded his head.
"I-I have a-a-an o-owl t-t-too." Preston said nodding his head a few more times.
"H-His n-name is R-R-Randall." He told Lexi as he concentrated on packing as much macaroni he could into the small container. He was sure Ringo was quite hungry.
"R-R-Ring-Ringo is a-a r-r-raccoon." Preston told Lexi as he snapped the lid onto the container that now held Ringo's meal in it.
"H-He acts l-l-like a-a c-c-cat th-though." Preston chuckled. He was going to add on that Ringo liked to sleep in the dryer when it wasn't in use, but decided that he should see how she reacted to the raccoon information before continuing to tell her more about Ringo.
"H-Hank w-w-would l-love t-to h-have a f-f-friend b-by th-the t-time he g-g-gets h-here." Preston said nodding his head up and down slowly. He was starting to get tired, but he had to last through the rest of the feast...he just
had to.
