Lily paused when she reached her desk and noted something that had NOT been there before. It was a picture of Van and Brysen... that night they all went to dinner to celebrate Evander's new position, and meet his brother...
She picked up the picture.
It was a very lovely shot, and a beautiful frame, and she DID like pink, but... who on earth had taken that picture... was someone stalking her?
Lily looked up at Preston when he spoke, as if she had been so lost in thought that she had forgotten he was even there.
"It must have been put here sometime during the feast, I suppose." She wasn't exactly sure about it herself... "It wasn't here before." Hmm. Lily set the picture down on the desk again, and walked around to sit behind it. "That's my son Brysen, he's a bit younger than you."
Preston watched Miss More as she looked at the photo, he could sense she seemed a little uneasy about it for some reason, but she seemed like it wasn't a big deal. Listening to her speak Preston's eyebrows knitted together.
"B-b-but wh-who w-w-would'nt b-b-be at th-the f-feast?" He questioned the Healer.
In Preston's mind, he thought that everyone in the school would be at the feast, teachers and students alike. It was odd to the twelve year boy that someone was sneaking around leaving photos in offices when everyone else was off at the feast.
It was too suspicious for Preston's liking.
"D-d-do y-you have a-an i-idea wh-who l-left it?" He asked her as he looked at the photo, he could tell that Brysen was a tad younger than himself. But he didn't look near as young as Preston's little brother, Hank. Preston smacked his forehead with his hand. He hadn't even said hello to Miss More yet, and here he was interrogating her about the suspicious photo.
"H-How w-w-was y-your s-sum-summer?" He asked finally with a smile, it was still a question, but non photo related, but still, Preston couldn't take his eyes off the photo for too long.
