If Preston wasn't so clumsy he would have ran from the feast to the hospital wing, but instead he had to take his time walking up there. He was excited to finally see Miss More and talk to her. He was even more excited to know that she was their Head of House.

Walking into the waiting room Preston did the normal routine like every other time he had to either see Miss More because he was injured or because he wanted to talk, and took his normal position in his chair near the door as he waited to see Miss More.
