He had decided.

"I will give it a rest. And I will visit your office tomorrow. Sir."

Jake may have been an adult... but he was still VERY much a sullen teenager at times.

"Unless you would prefer me to be seen and not heard all year?"

Jake had just opened his mouth to give the entirety of the staff who were against him a piece of his mind... when Truebridge spoke up.

And Jake had a mini-heart attack. That... kind of scared him.

The young man closed his mouth, turned back to Ikea and GLAAAAAAAAAARED at him from behind his sunglasses. "I'll try and find you so we can talk another time," Jake spoke quietly. "Sir."

And with that, he turned properly to Truebridge and did what most of the staff had no doubt been waiting for for so long. "Yes sir," he said quietly and took one step back away from the table, even though he hadn't asked him to leave.

Well... if they were taking any points, he'd prefer to be there to hear it.

Lilyan nodded at the boy, "Well, there's a good start, I will respect your request as well." After all, she was not a monster-

Oh, points, right. Hecate had taken quite a few more than she would have, but it was not her place to say anything. She hated doing it too, it was lucky she didn't have much opportunity, spending her days in the hospital. Hmm... maybe if she didn't say anything, no one would notice.

She was glad when Jake finally went back to his seat, like he had been asked, but she didn't really mind if he had stayed in the first place. It was a good thing for the children to talk to Ikenna, she knew some of the things the man thought, and she quite liked them.

Why should the children not have the same opportunity?

She was also glad when Ikenna left the table to go talk to the students, easier access that way. No other staff members to tell them to go away and then send them to her.

If she left early.... would anyone notice? She sent some sneaky glances around the table, to see who was occupied, and therefore wouldn't see the nurse go missing.
