AHA! Idea. "I'm horrible at Charms.. I needed tons of help from Professor Carlton last year. Some extra tutoring this term would be very helpful if you are willing.." Lie. Rae did need help last year, and every year before that.. But never once had she actually looked for help with Charms. She couldn't remember actually going to class too often actually. Study time... Good idea Rae! It took her some time to tell him her name, and Jared assumed she was excited, it being the start of the term.
"Rae," he said easily. "Of course." He hadn't expected to have to provide individual tuition outside of his classes, but he was here to teach. "Let's wait till the end of this week and, if my classes take you nowhere, you can drop into my office and we can discuss that."

"Is there anything else I can help you with?" His look was polite and mildly inquiring.
