"Nice to meet you Alice. So are you a first year?" Although not the most thought provoking question Selina was curious if she would be spending much time with this girl in classes.
"Yes I'm a first year, are you?" Alice thought they looked about the same age but it was best to ask to avoid causing offence.

"An Animagi really?" Alice was surprised but a little excited by this comment, she had read a little about Animagi and it sounded brilliant. "
What does she transform into? I don't suppose you get to choose do you?" Alice didn’t want to ask too many questions but she found the idea of it all just Fascinating.
