Connor knew she would be like this. He thought about just turning around right then and going back to the Great Hall. Why should he even care? They weren't even friends. They didn't even like each other! Yet he persisted anyway. "I was only getting back at you! You know.. it's not like we don't do this sort of stuff to each other all the time." He frowned when she pulled away and continued on up the steps.
