He didn't exactly undersand why he needed transfiguration, but he enjoyed it, so whatever.
"Too bad," he said. "I thought Adam and you could be great friends," he told him. "Where do you keep the cactus anyway?" he asked Eino.
Wow, wandmaking sounded a lot more complicated than Eino had imagined. Makes sense why those subjects would be important seeing as wandmaking sounded like some sort of potion brewing, except instead of a liquid you created a solid. That was pretty close. "That's impressive. I never imagined wandmaking would be so complex and complicated." Eino didn't understand exactly why Hugo would think he could be great friends with Adam. To be fair, he hadn't even had a proper chance at meeting him, but the Adam didn't seem to be genuinely interested in meeting Eino anyway, unless it was to find out whether Eino liked-liked Kurumi. No way! She has cooties, probably. What was Hugo talking about now? "What cactus?" Eino asked with a confused look on his face.

Eino spotted a Hufflepuff
spy student at the Ravenclaw house table and once their eyes caught each other's he nervously waved and muttered the word "hi." It all happened very quickly and spontaneously. He picked up his goblet and took another sip of water trying to avoid embarrassing himself any further. It was the sleep deprivation, he thought, but really he was always like that.
