And made her say weird things.
Ellie nodded. "Yes we do! Speaking of, I need to figure out when tryouts are..." She trailed off, talking more to herself than Alex. She turned back to him. "Beware, Alex Reed. I'll knock you off your broom." She challenged with a wink. That was, unless he continued to make her nervous. Then she'd just fall off her broom without physical interference.
Ellie frowned. She was hoping he'd carry on the "sweet talkin", but all he had said was "I guess so." She hoped he didn't think she was a complete flirt, throwing herself at him. That would be oh-so very sad. "Yeah..." She said with a mild laugh. She didn't really know what to say. That always happened to her too when she was around Alex. He was like a walking confundus charm, always leaving her speechless whenever he was near her.
Alex laughed at her, he didn't seem like someone that went around eating people. Should he take that as a compliment. It was a weird one though...
"No I don't go nomming on people." he winked. Nomming, hehe sounded funny.
"Do you?" he smirked teasing her. Oh well you never knew she might.
"Yeah same. Isn't there like an announcement thingy somewhere?" Thingy.. Why did he say that? Because he didn't exactly know what he meant but still, it didn't sound very smart and smart was what he needed to be when Ellie was around.
He scraped his shoe on the ground for a while figuring out what to say. What could he say?! Whyyyy was his mind all blank when he talked to Ellie. Perhaps because she made his thoughts all blurry and his mind all dizzy... Huh, it was a head scratcher. Perhaps there was some wicked magic behind it all. Iiinteresting.
"Missing the Leaky?" he grinned. There was where she had lived during the summer right? She'd told him, or perhaps she'd made his mind all blurry again. Facepalm.

Either way would be awesome, maybe she would meet someone who liked quidditch? Oh how Katie wanted to be seeker so badly. XD
"Hey Adorable!Katie." Alex laughed walking up to his friend. So they were both Slytherins at the Ravenclaw table heh, he wasn't alone. Success!
"How are you? Heard you were feeling dizzy earlier?" he asked concerned.

Carolyn picked him up from the station and bought him some ice creem but then she told him dad was ill. That worried Daniel . For the next five months he was alone at home with dad. Carolyn told him that no one else had time to look after him. Barry would visit every few days and Carolyn every two weeks but he was left mostly on his own.
A week ago dad had started getting better so Daniel finally convinced dad to let him go to school after Barry promised to check on him once every day.
So finally Daniel was back after 6 months and he just wanted to put everything behind him so he sat down and tried to see if any of his friends were here
While Daniel was surveying the hall his eyes fell on an older girl who wasn't wearing shoes. Poor her. ”Do you want my shoes?” he asked as kindly as he could manage. Hopefully she wouldn't take offence. This was one of the first times he had ever been this nice to a stranger hopefully it wouldn't be the last
Alex looked around the Ravenclaw table to find some of his Claw friends when he saw a boy around his age. A third year perhaps? Because man were they few third years! Or was he imagining that? Well best way to find out was to introduce himself. Plus it would be good to talk to a guy after a lot, a lot of girls. Not that he minded the girls...
"Hey," he grinned.
"Mind if I take a seat?" well because otherwise he would look pretty stupid just standing there. And stupid wasn't his thing.

Then, he looked up, and seemed to become a bit startled by the ceiling. Following suit, her eyes softened by the night above her. "It's amazing isn't it?" she whispered, hoping to help loosen him--and herself--up a bit.
"Oh, and I'm Brielle, by the way," she added, but kept her hand to herself this time. She was scared that the boy might get too uncomfortable again. And besides, there was time for handshakes later.
Brielle? Alex turned around searching her face. Aha! He smiled and walked over to her. Hopefully she still remembered him from the train. What if she didn't? Aoowkward!
"Hey Brielle." he said when he walked up to her.
