And chemistry in the movies is a really stupid argument for discussing JKR's endgame in the books. plus, Dan and bonne have no chemistry, but rupert and emma do. R/Hr were beautifully developed. H/Hr are different in the movies moreso because of the way the characters are written(very out of character at times)
I totally agree that the movie makers should focus their energies on the actual couples and not somebody's imaginary couples.
I totally disagree that Dan and Bonnie don't have chemistry together. Their kiss in the kitchen was my favorite scene in DH 1. I wish Kloves/Yates would give them more lines together, but working with what little they have been given, Dan and Bonnie have created scenes in HBP and DH1 that were tender, awkward (intentionally so -- they are teenagers just learning to understand and express their feelings for each other), and genuine. I have high hopes that we will see a lot more of them together in DH2.
