THE 19th BIRTHDAY!

The music was surrounded and had almost engulfed the entire Grimmauld Place on the occasion of Harry’s 19th birthday. If only it hadn’t been protected with various magical charms the adjoining buildings could have easily heard all that was going on in the building and would have led the youngsters into serious trouble. But that obviously didn’t happen given the thorough magical security that the Grimmauld Place was protected with for decades.

Harry was blindfolded by George and what seemed after a very long journey did they reach the Place and that certainly was not through Floo powder Harry had known. He would have realized if they would have traveled that way, he could have felt the slight claustrophobic feeling while standing in the fireplace the feeling of the green flames over his body not that he could see the green flames with blindfold on him but he was well aware of the Floo network connection for more than 8 years of his life as a wizard.

And soon as he stepped in and was walked through the corridor of some sort and suddenly the blindfold was removed and there was huge fireworks crackling in the air of the Grimmauld Place’s high ceiling. His eyes took time to adjust to the sudden light because it felt as if there wasn’t any lights prior to his entry too. And as the others adjusting to the bright firecrackers they went on cheering for Harry and of course who could forget the Weasley Products!

A huge smile brightened his face as he walked and hugged Mr. and Mrs. Weasley later followed by the others who whished him and hugged him. At last moving away from Ron and Hermione he walked up to Ginny and she engulfed him with a huge hug which certainly made him go off the balance but he managed to stand still and take the hug and the sweet kiss from his lovely girlfriend in deep blue evening dress and her flaming red hair…

The entire evening was a laughter riot. George, Jimmy and Ritchie who Demelza considers as her new team’s George and Fred had made the guests laugh so hard that by the end everyone was holding on to their stomachs and faces for no one had laughed and giggled and enjoyed so much ever. Lee with his antics of imitation hadn’t spared anyone. Not a single soul that he knew was spared from Professor McGonagall to Arthur Weasley, from Percy to Ron, he even imitated the girls the funniest being Hermione even with Fleur being in competition with her. But according to Lee he enjoyed imitating Mione the most because she was always the uptight and law and rule abiding girl of the lot at least till the time he was a part of Hogwarts.
“no offense Hermione dear” called out a slightly high and hysterical Lee
“I love you” he said and Ron stiffened
“I mean we all love you for what you are but seriously you were our favorite person to imitate” he said in his stupor.
Shaun who hadn’t missed Ron’s stiffness spoke out loud
“Lee, good you corrected yourself my boy or else you would have had to deal with the Weasley King about that little love line of yours” he said grinning and Sara shook her head trying to bite back her laughter as Lee and the rest chuckled which left Ron and Hermione blushing beet red.
And the imitation continued and so did the rest of the fun as the moon went up high above into the dark sky and the stars began to twinkle the guests began to slowly get tired but nonetheless exhilarated by the birthday party; the kind of party they hadn’t had since the re-union.
As the last of the guests piled out from the Grimauld Place’s fireplace Sara and the rest of her friends stayed back to clean up the living room, the dining room and the kitchen.
“Ginny why don’t you go and spend time with Harry, we will take care of all this” said Hermione but Ginny brushed the topic off and continued to help till Harry came back from the front of the house where he had gone to see of Luna, Derek and Fiona who wanted to have a walk back to their home.

“phew…that was quite some party guys” Harry said digging his hands deep in his pockets and Ron grinned
“you are welcome” he said cheekily and everybody laughed
“yeah…thanks” said Harry with a side smile. Smiling he looked up at Ginny and walked to her and began helping her with the cleaning which made the girls smile but made Ron roll his eyes
“Mione told her to go and be with Harry, why do they have to be so cheesy” said Ron looking at his sister and his best friend work together and Shaun bit back his laughter
“look whose talking about being cheesy” said Sara softly who just heard Ron speak. Looking away from Ron, she looked at Shaun who was still smiling trying not to laugh. As soon he saw Sara looking at him his smile faltered and he looked away and walked into the living room to get the rest of the empty wine and firewhiskey bottles.
