Sitting down in an empty seat beside the boy, she smiled. "Hello, Braeden."
Braeden, too busy stuffing his face, didn't notice as Evangeline made her way to his side of the table and took a seat beside him. It wasn't until her voice greeted him that the boy realized her presence, and in consequence nearly fell off his seat.
"
Hollywood!" He coughed, choking on the pumpkin juice he had just been about to drink at that moment. Wide-eyed, he turned sharply to the newcomer, his features startled before a large, bright smile replaced that expression. "You're really good at that secret detective thing, you know? Sneaking up on people like that..." he muttered, shaking his head slightly with amusement.
