It was a legitimate concern, in his not-so-humble opinion.
These handshakes were always far too formal for her liking, but the girl didn't want to be seen as rude, so always returned one, holding her hand out delicately and shaking back.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Kellen" she smiled.
"Oh thats okay, not a lot really happened to be honest" she was far too distracted by it all, and not forgetting how.. emotional she was feeling as well.
"I'm sorry, I don't actually know what that is" she stated, slightly embarrassed by that fact, but she was pureblooded, there was a lot she didn't know of.
"Do you mind if I sit? The Slytherin table was getting a little bit too crowded?" she asked eying the empty seat next to him.
