She kept to herself? He didn't want to pry, sometimes it was nice just being alone.

Alex smiled reassuringly at the girls.
"Don't worry, you'll learn the ropes soon enough." he winked. He didn't know anything either, being a transfer but he really didn't mind. Things would work out, they always did.
"Well the subjects are the normal magical subjects." he shrugged taking a quick look at the girls, perhaps they didn't know what the average subject was? Huh.
"You know, Potions, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Flying, Arthimancy, Transfiguration, Charms, Muggle studies, Ancient runes, Divination, History of Magic, Herbology... That sort of thing." That sounded like a lot and that wasn't even everything. Ugh, he was sure the homework would kill him.
"There'll be a lot of first years that doesn't know anything about Hogwarts." he smiled. Of course they weren't expected to know everything their first day.
