He had an accent which she had troubled placing but it sounded beautiful. "Where do you come from? I gather from your accent that you’re not British." Drinking some pumpkin juice she relaxed in her seat for a bit.

Patroclus was not at the feast so she felt that her duty was to remain with her housemates and to be available for questions or potential situations that could arise. Waving for Evan to instead come to her as there was a vacant seat next to her, Sophie remained put. "Come here Evan! How’s it going over at the snake table?" If something were to happen it would not be good if the house prefect was absent.
