Kurumi smiled at Simon. She had never really gotten the chance to interact with him except for in a few classes last term, but he seemed very capable. Then again, she only had Josh to compare him to...but Simon certainly had the intelligence and leadership qualities oozing from him. Ew, maybe oozing wasn't the right word. "I'm sure you will do a great job as captain," she said reassuringly. "I'm thinking of making some pre-match cookies for the team as, you know, a kind of pick me up," she explained through all the blushing and fidgeting with her hair. "Nothing too heavy or sweet though, the team needs to be able to move. Maybe oatmeal based or something..." She probably should stop before she began rambling about cookie recipes.


"The usual crowd," Kurumi giggled. They did have a solid group of friends that stretched between all four houses. "We could invite a first years as well. They all should know about the Room of Requirement and Bubblegum Quidditch." Now it was going to be a matter of finding time to fit all this in. She already had Y.W.H.O activities, doing research in the library with Eino and (whenever he had time) Adam, her baking circle, and now perhaps frequent Bugglegum Quidditch matches.

Kurumi twirled around on her seat when she felt someone bump into her and saw that it was a rather nervous and perhaps lost looking young girl. "It's no problem," she said with a smile as she tilted her head slightly to the right. "It is so crowded in here right now that we are bound to bump into one another." Then her mother's voice rang in her head that she was being rude sitting down while this girl was standing. "I'm Kurumi, Kurumi Hollingberry," she said as she stood up and bowed. Wait, hand shake. She needed to get out of her Japan mindset. "It's nice to bump into you," she giggled offering her hand for a handshake.
