He took the badge and moved past Ellie to a seat far from everyone else, he first looked around for Vashti, if it was meant for her then he'll give it to her, but then up at the staff table for Professor V. He would know the actual answer. Jacob put the Badge down on the table next to his plate, and then took the fork, starting to play with the food on his plate.

Ellie watched Jacob carefully. The letter with the school supplies? "And didn't you check to make sure your name was on the envelope?" BOYS. They couldn't do anything, could they?

And then he walked away. "Well, aren't you going to give it to her? I'm sure she'd be pleased to know." Ellie walked over to Jacob and picked the badge back up, along with Jacob's arm. He'll need to apologize.

She'd spotted Vashti and went straight for her. "Congratulations captain!" Ellie beamed as she handed Vashti the badge.
