"Haha, don't be sorry!" Jenny laughed. It was amusing how he hasn't thought of food at Hogwarts before, but it was his reaction that's amusing, not his unawareness of food.
"Of course there's food in the school! Like after the sorting ceremony, the headmaster will make a huge speech and then tons of food will appear out of nowhere! More delicious food than you can imagine!" Jenny was also aware of another thing...was this kid not aware that he'll be living at school for the majority of the year?
