Not like this, at least. She and Alex had never even attended an actual school before now, for Merlin's sake!
In her eyes, she had every right to step cautiously onto the train instead of just throwing herself wide open into what lied ahead. She took a casual glance around, looking for Alex, really, then started to wonder how on Earth she was meant to find a seat. What was she supposed to do? Walk up to some random kid and ask if she can sit next to them? Psh, yeah, right.
Maybe she'd just visit the food trolley first. At least then she wouldn't have to subject herself to asking someone if she could sit next to them. She didn't want to seem like a beggar either. Hmm...now where was that trolley? With as confident of a face as she could give, she made her way down the aisles and toward what she hoped would be the trolley.

As she turned to actually face the girl, Sierra put on as pleasant of a face as she could, even though she was slightly annoyed at being bumped into. "Ohh, it's cool. No big deal," she said. She paused, unsure of whether she should just continue on her way or keep up conversation with the girl.
Having finished with Arabella's trunk, Jake had gone off to check his trunk still had his favourite lock on it; the magical padlock he'd picked up from a seedy looking dude just off the portkey site at one of the historic landmarks Jake had visited. Kazi had checked the lock and declared it okay, so Jake now used it for his trunk. Nobody was getting in there... BWAHAHAHAHA*coughsplutterchoke*
Strolling down the train again looking for someone familiar, Jake happened upon two young girls he'd recently met, who appeared to be conversing. And kind of blocking the way.
So Jake... hung back. They might not want to speak to him. He was old and uncool.
Like his dad.
