Once at the train doors, Nathan took his belongings, simply gave his parents a brief, meaningless nod then jumped aboard.
He still looked angry. He wasn't angry, but that was a look that he often sported for some reason. Then again, pushing past everybody whilst carrying all this stuff was quite annoying. Nathan instinctively went to the back of the train, because he figured that it would be more empty there....
And he was... wrong. Everywhere on this bloomin' train was flooding with students. Giving up finding a totally empty compartment, Nathan opened up a random one and shoved his stuff on the ground like a stressy teenager. He really didn't care who else was in here, if they didn't want him in there, then THEY would have to move. It took about 2 minutes before his eyes wandered towards the others in the compartment, and he was quite mindboggled.
"Elliotttttttttttttttt, dude, hey!" Nathan leaned forwards and lightly punched his friend on the arm as a greeting. How weird was it that he just so happened to stumble across this compartment? Nathan looked towards the girl sitting with Elliott and smiled as he studied her face. Hmm. "Oh, hello there," he paused... "Have we met before?" He had met lots of pretty girls in his time, so he often lost track of things...
What was all that rustling and thumping around? Elliott frowned and turned his head to see... Nathan! Oh, heh. He hadn't seemed to notice just who he was about to sit with, and so Elliott waited for him to realize this. After a minute or two, the boy finally did. "
Nathan!" he laughed, slapping him on the shoulder in return. Yes, a shoulder-slap was much more manlyman than a hug. "
It's about time you get here." His mate began with a suave 'hello there' towards Lucie, and Elliott smiled inwardly before taking a seat again.

She really would have been fine if they would have stopped there. The girl never minded being the youngest. Hmm...a sister? She laughed a little. "That's what everyone wishes until they actually get one." Now she'd rather not have a younger sister. Let alone 2. "What house is your sister in?" she asked.
"I haven't been to that part of our library for a long time. So I'm not in tears over it," she explained with a plain expression on her face. She had gotten over it since she was 9. It wasn't really hers anymore. She had her own part of the library now.
She giggled slightly and gave a shake of her head. "Actually I'm terrified of swimming. It's just...." she fiddled with the zipper on her backpack. "...I don't know how to swim," Lucie finished in a small voice. She wasn't scared of the water, but she didn't know how to stay above and breathe. She smiled and looked back up at him. "Me too. I hope there's rooms on the grounds for jogging. Do you like jogging in the early morning or at night?" she questioned, looking over at him, then smiling to herself because of how cute he was. "Usually Chaser. At least that's what my brother and cousin's always stuck me as. Occasionally seeker." She was built to be fast not strong.
Elliott had to admit.. fourteen years was an awfully long time to wait to have some more kids. Heh. But he smiled when she told him he basically shouldn't want a brother. "
Well, I love my sister, but a brother would just be nice sometimes." Guy stuff. What house was his dear sis in? "
This is her first year at Hogwarts as well, so I donno which one she'll be in," he said with a shrug. "
Are you hoping to get into any one in particular?"
That made sense. By the looks of the book, she was probably out of that reading stage ages ago. "
They look like good children's books. Do you like to read otherwise?"
Oh, no! What was this? Terrified of swimming? That was a right shame. "
You need to learn then! For sure." It was always strange to him how some people could 'not swim.' Probably because he was just so used to it that he didn't really think about it much at all. "
I doubt there's a pool at Hogwarts, but if there is, I'll teach you." If she wanted, of course. Who knew, she could be against getting in the water in general. His cousin was like that..
Hogwarts apparently had pretty extensive grounds, or so he had heard, so hopefully they wouldn't need to worry about room for running. "
In the morning, definitely," he answered, when she asked when he preferred to run. Elliott had always been an early riser anyway, and it was a good way to start the day. "
What about you?" Hmm, chaser. He always thought beater was the worst position. To him, that is. Seeker was his favorite, though he wasn't a quidditch player, so it didn't really matter anyway. "
If you make the school team, I'll cheer you on, then."
