Hey everyone

I'm Katie and this is my thrid FF on SS. This is a sequel to Love:Teddy and Victoire Sa16+ about one of the Lupin children - Matthew Remus Lupin. Reading LTV may help with background info but this is the first time I have wrote about Matty.

Disclaimer: JK Rowling came up with the Wizarding World and Hogwarts, I made many of my own characters as this is way after the trio's time and the war. Though some characters and relationships were created by her.

Chapter 1 - Back to Hogwarts (Part 1)

‘Matty hurry up, get down here!’ Shouted Victoire Lupin from the bottom of the steps.

‘Mum I’m coming! One minute!’ He sounded frustrated as he ran about his room collecting some last minute things and shoving them in his trunk.

‘Matthew Remus Lupin, I don’t have one minute!’Victoire’s patience was wearing very thin; she couldn’t handle it. She surprised herself as September 1st was always hectic for wizards, always.

Matty ran down the stairs dragging his trunk behind him, his owl cage was balanced on top of it and the bangs against the flooring told the whole neighbourhood that he was finally ready to leave.

‘Thanks Matt, we’ll probably be late now.’ Sneered Evie, one of his big sisters.

‘Yeah, no different from last year.’ Huffed Violet, Evie’s twin.

‘Girls, stop moaning – we’ll make it.’ Said their father, Teddy Lupin. ‘Vic is Tom ready to get in the car?’

‘Tom! Where are you?’ Yelled Vic, she needed to lie down.

‘Coming Mummy. I was brushing my teeth.’ He jogged into the living room, clumsily banging off of the coffee table and out the front door.

The Lupins left behind Thomas and got into their car. They were on their way to Kings Cross Station where three of their children would get on board the Hogwarts Express. Evie and Violet were starting their fifth year and Matt his second. Tom still had three years to go as you had to be 11 to attend Hogwarts School of Witch Craft and Wizardry. All of them were Metamorphagus except Matt; he was just your regular wizard with scruffy, dirty blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. For their first day back the girls had opted for blue, straight hair that flowed down their backs. Matty seemed OK about this but he wasn’t overly thrilled that he was plain. According to him plain was lame. Nobody noticed him as much as they did his sisters. Few people knew they were siblings at all.

When the family rushed on to Platform 9 a lot of faces turned to see what the rabble was. Matthew had dropped his owl cage and Dusty flew out it, squawking uncontrollably.

‘Matthew we don’t have time for this, pick up your stuff. We’ll meet you at the other side.’ Vic walked towards the wall between platforms 9 and 10 and whispered to the girls, ‘Silly boy. So clumsy.’

‘Matt, you know she’s just stressed. She’s had a hard time at work and it’s a bad day. She doesn’t mean that.’ Ted squeezed his son’s shoulder and nudged Tom. ‘Come on Tommo, let’s go.’

‘I’m Thomas Billy Lupin, not Tommo.’

‘OK, Thomas Billy Lupin let’s go. That better?’ Teddy laughed to himself and he ruffled Tom’s black hair. ‘Lay off the black Tom, I went through that faze once – didn’t work out.’

‘What about this Daddy?’ Tom screwed up his face and really concentrated. His hair began to get lighter and lighter until it stopped at indigo.

‘Very handsome.’ Chuckled Ted, stepping through the wall behind his wife.

‘Show-off.....’ Whispered Matty to himself.

‘Are you talking to yourself? First sign of craziness they always say.’ Matt’s second-cousin James was strolling towards him with Mia in his arms. He laughed as Matt looked up and smiled.

‘Hey Jay! How are you?’ Matt took the two year old Mia from her father’s arms and held her to his chest. They were really close; he had even been allowed to babysit her during the summer.

‘Don’t ask him Matty, he’ll rant on and on. That’s one of the questions I regret asking him everyday.’ Chris walked toward them and giggled as Jake ran towards the wall where he would soon see the Hogwarts Express as his mode of transport to Hogwarts. ‘He didn’t sleep for excitement last night. It was cute.’

‘Cute? Did you fall off a broom and hit your head? It was mental last night. Because he wasn’t in bed but jumping up and down Mia hardly got any sleep, she wouldn’t sleep on the way here either.’ James complained as Christie rolled her eyes.

‘See what I mean Matt?’ She laughed and walked towards her son. ‘Where is everyone?’

‘They left me, again. They weren’t patient enough to wait.’ Grumbled Matthew as he picked up the rest of the owl treats and called Dusty back into her cage.

Matthew walked through the wall holding Mia and Dusty’s cage in his arms with James balancing his trunk on Jake’s cart. The Hogwarts Express came into view and Matt’s face lit up, it was the best thing he had saw in a long time. He was finally going back to school.
