Lily and Emily were happy that me and Remus made up. James, of course, was pretty clueless of everything that had happened between me and my friends, but now that we all were finally starting to get along again, I really didn’t care. I glared at Sirius as we all were sitting in the common room. He smiled back, then returned deep into conversation with his friends.
“So….” I muttered breaking the awkward silence.
“Yup.” put in Lily.
Oh geez, this was gonna take some time.
“Um,” said Emily. I looked up at her. She was glancing around the common room uncomfortably, “I uh… I guess I should tell you that I’m sorry. For yelling at you earlier.”
Emily wasn’t exactly the best at apologies.
“It’ s fine,” I said, “I shouldn’t have just ignored you.”
“I mean… I know you’re going through a lot and everything-”
“No Emily, you don’t have to.” I stuttered.
“Right,” she sighed and leaned back in the chair.
I was sitting happily in front of the fire, next to Remus, and chatting excitedly with my friends; Nothing could ruin my mood.
