Daniel had followed the man into the interrogation room; a rather unpleasant name for it, if he had his say-so. Why not just 'questioning' or 'interview'. Gah. He was no criminal.

Folding his arms across his chest as another bloke came in, Daniel looked between the two. He didn't have a preference; today was the worst day of his life and it was topped off by coming across a group of people he chose not to like. Weren't they supposed to be nice to witnesses?

Stepping forwards, Daniel raised a finger as though making a point in conversation. He looked at the first man... Damien, was it? "I'll go with you."

And get it over with.
