Nominations for the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards have been
announced, where several
Harry Potter actors have been recognised for their work outside of the series.
Most notable was Helena Bonham Carter, who received two nominations for her work in
The King's Speech - for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role, and Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth. Helena's
The King's Speech costars Michael Gambon and Timothy Spall were also recognised in the best ensemble cast for the feature. Additionally, Kelly Macdonald (Helena Ravenclaw) was recognised along with her
Boardwalk Empire costars in the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.
