He leaned forward a little and tried to follow as she recounted her blood status. So her father was... a half-blood, but a wizard? And her mother is a half-blood of something.
"I'm still a little confused," he confessed. "So you're of mixed blood. But what blood?"
Goodness, she wasn't half-giant, was she?! Half-goblin, maybe? She mostly looked human, as far as his squinty eyes could tell.
Selina giggled inwardly to herself. Perhaps she was not great at explanation. She was giving this poor little goblin a very hard time unintentionally. Truly she had only meant to be clear on her application when stating blood status.
"I'm a hundred percent human. When you asked about half-blood I thought you were referring to muggle born, pureblood, half blood. I am not half-giant or veela. The only race I belong to is mankind. I am ,however, a mixed blood magically. But my genetic make-up is human... was I clear that time?" Selina bit down on her lip. She did truly hope she was being clear. Her mix up on the sheet had obviously thrown this poor goblin off. And he was so nice too.
