Helen walked into the Homework Room so she could complete her homework as fast as possible and when not many people were around. She grabbed the dummy that she had been using in class, and that had her name on it and started to get on with it. She first wanted to think about her design and what she specifically wanted in detail before she started altering and making things. She found that this helped her as some of the things she made in class turned out quite weird as she wasnt concentrating properly and focusing and didnt know what she specifically wanted.

She grabbed a piece of paper from her bag and did a quick sketch of what kind of shaped top she wanted and what kind of colours etc. She felt she needed to know the things so when she was saying the incantation, she was focusing on them factors so it was better quality and equals a higher grade. She sketched a tube top (with no straps or sleeves) that went down to just above the hips and had multi coloured stripes going across it diagonally but the main background colour of the top to be white and she annotated it saying she didnt want it to be very thick fabric (like them heavy jumpers) as she felt she wanted her outfit to be for the spring/summer.

Kat entered the Homework Room to see one student in there. Which was awkward considering she doesn't know the person in it. Kat looked for her mannequin with her name plate. Then she saw it around the right side of the room and approached it.

Before making rubbish bags into clothes, she took out a piece of parchment and started to sketch her clothes there. Hmm... She wanted a Slytherin-ish tshirt with silver sleeves and some sequins on the sleeves. Kat was much of a fashion designer but she thought it might look cool.

The vest-thing Vickers ended up with during the last HOM class has gone missing. Last he saw of it of course was that it was belatedly been worn by his best bud. Now where it could be right now only Elijah knows.

Not that he could conjure another one like it anyway. He didnt even know how he ended up with that to begin with.

But Vickers was now fully decided that for this homework-- this term project-- this had to be something he would actually wear. So that means shirts or polos. No fancy schmancy next-season couture creations. He would actually like to wear this on a boardwalk, not a catwalk.

He picked up a handful of garbage bags and walked alongside the rows of dummies until he found the one that bore his name. Pulling it out of the line, he pushed it near another corner and lay the garbage bags on a small table. Picking up a bag he began fitting it around the dummy's torso then stepped back. The bag hung loosely all around it. Should he bother trimming and tucking it or something?

Blaaaaaaah.

As much as Terry liked his cousin, or cousin once removed, his mums cousin whatever that was, Terry was not into fashion that much. He wore what his mum gave him and he wasn't very creative when it came to making outfits.

But he knew Professor Magnus would give him a very disappointed face and he didn't like that face so he turned up at the homework room with an incredibly blank look on his face. He had no idea what to do so he would simply make it up as he went along. That was the best way to do it wasn't it?

There weren't many in the room as he wandered up the stairs and stepped into the premises. He was glad though, that there weren't many to stare at his rubbish designs and his final project. Though he would like some help from someone, female preferably because they knew more about clothes than most males did.

Right. Where to start?

Angel wandered into the room, hoping that she'd be able to just get this over with. Despite the fact that she did love clothes she wasn't sure how she'd go with the task of actually creating an outfit... but to start with a shirt couldn't be too bad or was just terrible. So making her way up to the room she stood in the doorway for a moment looking in.

Was is soooo bad that she just wanted to run away and never come back to the room and just not do the homework? It probably was. So with a large sigh she managed to navigate her way over to the mannequin with her name on it and almost winced as she thought about what she'd have to do.

Gulping, she stood there for a couple of minutes, questioning where she should start, randomly and hope for the best or through careful planning?

Homework time.

For the first time, Juliet is really excited with making this homework. Design your own top, what couldn't be more exciting than this. It's making all her brain and creativity put to work.

Juliet entered the room and saw a few people getting their own mannequin and starting with their own design for their homework. Juliet manage to find her own mannequin and dragged it all over to an empty chair and table where she can work for this. She placed her bag on the table and took out the parchment and quill, laid them all in one corner.

Before starting she stared at the plastic bag surrounding the top half of her mannequin. Hmmmm.... What should she do? What design?

Theodore rather enjoyed homework that didn't have to be written out in lengthy parchments. But, he was kind of worried about this task. Sure, he had successfully performed the transfiguration spell during class, but it was the reversing spell that he struggled with. Actually, he'd prefer a whole homework session to be practicing that.

Especially when Sophie informed him that it wasn't 'Roberto' but 'Reverto'. That was incredibly awkward of him.

The second year made his way to the homework room and lay a huge bit of paper on the floor and then lay on his stomach. It was designing time. And Theo did his best designing, whilst sprawled all over the ground. Yep.

He wanted it to be red and black, for obvious reasons.

For spiderman reasons.

*scribble, scribble*

Kat was enjoying sketching her shirt. Lots of erasures, of course, until she made the perfect one for her. "This is it," she whispered to herself so as not to disturb another students who were working with their homework as well. "This is what my shirt should be,"

With a smirk on her face, she placed the parchment down on top of her slingbag and took her wand out. She faced her mannequin that wore the rubbish bag. Wait, what? Mannequins wearing rubbish bags? The thought's funny, but Kat dismissed it.

Wand at the ready, she thought of her shirt and then said, "Summus Vestis," with the Z hand movement. Nope, no luck. Try again, Kat.

Theo had drawn about six dots on his piece of paper, because he was struggling. It's not like he particularly excelled in the art of clothes designing. It was a girl thing, and Theo would much rather learn about how to transfigure sunflowers into swords.

OH yeah.

He'd scratched the Spiderman idea by now, as he had a much more original idea. And one that people could not copy. Yes, he was watching all the others in this room, too.

It would be green. It would have stripes on the sleeves for no reason whatsoever, and in huge letters across the middle, it would read....

Though, he did need some sort of logo. The second year scribbled a snake next to his name. There we go. That would show off which house he came from. The bestest place to EVER come from. Slytherin. :')

Yes, yes, yes. He'd wear this for Muggle Studies. Granted that he did the spell okay.... Oh great, it was THAT part now.

Her short hair separated in half at the back of her neck, Beezus hurried inside the door at the sixth floor corridor. She was there to do the homework Professor Magnus, their Transfiguration teacher, had given them.

Once inside, the Ravenclaw immediately went to look for the mannequin with her name on the plate. "Beatrice....Beatrice..." she muttered as she passed the mannequins in search for hers. "Oh, there you are!" Beezus said finally when she read the name plate. Beatrice Castell. Yep, that was certainly her. After doing so, she pulled a chair from under the nearest table to her life-size dummy and sat on it.

She took out a fresh piece of parchment and began designing her desired design for the top.

Hmm. Not too showy, not too lacy, not too colorful...

After Helen finished sketching her top, she grabbed a rubbish bag and wrapped it around the top of the dummy and clipped it at the back so it would stay stuck on the dummy. She cut the bottom of it off so it looked more like a top and it would be easier for it to transfigure - she wants to make her job easier (as it was a similair size to the ideal top). She looked around and realised a lot more people had joined her in the homework room that had just been empty a few minutes ago.

"So much for missing the crowd - I guess I'll have to start saying the spell now if I want to have some space when I'm working " she says under her breath before getting the dummy from the left of her to in front of her as she was getting ready to start to transfigure some rubbish bags to fashionable clothes.

After looking at the design, she pulled out her wand and said the incantation: Summus Vestis whilst moving her wand in a Z shape. Nothing happened after multiple times of saying it and she started to get annoyed even though it was only her 1st time of trying. She had short patience so she gave up and stopped saying it after the 10th time. She's realises that shes gotten quite frustrated which is probably the reason why the spell isnt working.

Taylor came twirling in, happy. She smiled and then went looking for her mannequin. After few seconds, she found it and accioed a chair over. Tay sat down and took out a piece of parchment. Taylor had studied some fashion magazines earlier to see what was in and what was not. She didnt want to look lame in her new outfit. She sighed, looking cute was the only thing she had left other than her brother from her old life. Tay hated all the changes and she just wanted to try to still be cute but she doubted that she could stay cute. Taylor realized that she drifted off and lost focus so she frown and started to sketch a design of the top she wanted to do. Taylor finished a sketch of her idea and then debated to try a different one so she started sketching another one. Tay hummed as she sketched, not caring about how good the sketches look since it wasnt like she was doing it to give to someone. Taylor finished another sketch and smiled. She looked between the two sketches and started to debate. Taylor finally decided to go with the stripes and her name since she thought it definitely looked cuter. Tay laid down her piece of parchment and quill. She stood up and stretched, looking around the room at the other busy students. Taylor decided that after she finished her homework that she would go back up a floor and curl up in her nice comfy bed and sleep or read. Tay looked around and spotted the rubbish bags. She sighed and glanced around tbe room. It was a bit crowded, maybe she should do the assignment later so that she can focus better since she cant do loud crowds but maybe it would actually get her to focus more since it will clear her mind from sad thoughts. Tay debated between leaving and doing the assignment. Taylor finally decided to stay and finished it up since she might forget or it might just stay busy anyways.

Noooo, too many people in the homework room. Jenny had been hoping to avoid a big crowd, but apparantly she had failed. She found her dummy and stared at it's ugliness. Hopefully this top would be better than the ONE she did in class. She rummaged in her bag for a pencil and her sketchpad, to design the t-shirt.

It would be pink. That was all Jennifer had so far. With long sleeves. Yes, the ideas were coming to her now! It would have a white belt. And maybe a few fancy looking bits. Then she would stick a label on it with the name of some famous designer. Tadaaaa! Her million dollar idea.

She began to sketch it quickly. Before she lost all her brilliant ideas for it. This time, it would work straight away! Mwahaha.

Taylor moved from her little area and walked across the room. She bent down and picked up a rubbish bag. Tay straighten up and skipped back over to her mannequin and work station. Taylor tried to find the hole to slide the mannequin in but she was having trouble. Soon she was mad as all get out. Tay let the rubbish bag fall from her hands as she counted to ten and did a few deep breaths. Taylor sank down into the chair and put her head in her hands. This has been a terrible month so far... her head still hurt but she didnt want to tell anyone least they make her go to the evil healer. Tay was lucky so far that her friends didnt care too much to make her go to the healer. After a few moments, she stood up and picked up the rubbish bag again. Taylor found the hole this time and slid it over the mannequin. Tay just hope this assignment wont take her too long to do since she needed to go relax before too much longer. Taylor straighten up the rubbish bag and stared at it for a few moments. She looked at her design and then at the rubbish bag again. Why couldnt we just buy new clothes? When will we ever have to use this spell in our lives? Tay liked fashion but she preferred buying rather than... well making, of course. Taylor was a bit picky with her clothes and she, of course, wasnt going to wear the shirt or the outfit except when forced to or when she was sick and laying about on the couch at home since she always went for the name brands. That was why her shirt ideas were simple because simple was easy and easy was fast so therefor simple will be the fastest bet for her walking out of that door over there any time soon.

They were seriously designing outfits for HOMEWORK?!?!?! THIS IS LEGIT AWESOME. Of course, it was using material they had learned in class, BUT STILL!!!! Class seemed to be getting better every year!!!

She pushed opened the door to the Transfiguration homework room, surprised by the crowd. This much people loved it? EEP! Cardigan looked around for her dummy, lost in the sea of bodies. How many could they fit in here?!?! After a few minutes of whole-hearted searching, she had FINALLY found hers. That was a relief!! Now, time to get to work! Before starting, she would need to make a sketch of her final product, just to help her get it down pat, and not make any mistakes.

What DID she want her shirt to look like? It would have to be unique and fit her style range, something you might not see at your local department store on the cheap, at least. Sparkles were here signature, so they had to be added! Hmm, how about some rhinestones as well? Sounds good! Color would be needed, but all the sparkle would give it enough. Cardigan kept sketching, erasing, coloring; sketching, erasing, coloring, until she came up with something that looked like this. It was perfect!!!

After she got over her little mini frustration, temper tantrum thingy - she decided to try the spell again, well she kinda had to as it was homework and she had quite little time left before she had to go back up to her common room and do homework for other subjects that were due in tommorow, plus the fact that she really wants to finish it before more people come in. They're piling in by the second she thought and she quickly stood back up and got her wand out again. "Ok lets hope that this actually transforms into something" she said under her breath.She said the incantation, first clearing her mind and relaxing - only thinking of her beautiful design and nothing else that could distract her. Summus Vestis she said in a strong tone whilst moving her wand infront of the bag stuck on the dummy in a z shape.

After a few tries, it transfigured but not exactly into what she wanted. She wanted a multi-coloured tube top (strapless) with white as the main colour and for it to be just above her waist. She ended up getting a long robe (similair to the Hogwarts ones) but was crinkley, brown and resembled parchment in some way. "Ughh - stop thinking of other homework." she said hitting the palm of her hand on her forehead. All she had to say was " Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it ", referring to what she said before she tried and now it made her look stupid saying it.

Annabelle was walking down till she found the homework room. She wanted to create her own t-shirt design. It sounded like a pretty awesome idea. Belle always wanted to design but she was never good at it. She got a mannequin with her name tag on it, she got a rubbish bag and then started to think of a design. "Hmmm what do i wanna draw?" Belle thought to herself. She knew she wanted to make the shirt a color purple. As she was getting her design in her head, she started drawing it out.

Alice skipped into the already crowded room, weaving through the hoard of other children to reach the mannequins. She most definitely did NOT want to design a shirt, but she figured she would need to. After settling herself down near a mannequin, she dumped out the contents of her bag and spread them out in her work area. To start off, she decided to sketch out her shirt like some others she had observed. The little lioness pulled out some colouring tools and a blank sheet of paper and began to work. Hmm. Now. What to design? Yes, little Alice Fischer was not the best fashion designer. She didn't even choose more than a third of her wardrobe, let alone have an interest in fashion. But Transfiguration was her favourite subject, so she had to give it a go.

After ten minutes of searching her brain and throwing little bits of paper at the other students she finally got her brain thinking. She began to down scrawl ideas.

Because she could so totally make a shirt that had the Hulk with a crown on his head, eating a piece of candy.

Melanie poked her head into the room. Was this the right room? She fiddled nervously with the necklace around her neck before readjusting the strap on her backpack. The homework had definitely seemed interesting but it was making her think very hard. She looked around at everyone else. Oh, they all seemed so hard at work. As quietly as she could, she walked into the room, weaving through people to reach a mannequin. Apparently all the mannequins already had name tags on them so the Gryffindor peered over and around people, looking at the different mannequins looking for her name.

OH. Found it.

What did she do now?

Glancing around, everyone seemed to be sketching their shirts out. Was that what they were supposed to do? She dropped her backpack on the ground, wincing as it made a loud thud. She hoped that didn't disturb anyone. She fumbled with the clasp on her backpack, pulled out her notebook and a pencil. Melanie bit her lower lip as she thought about what the t-shirt design should be. She had done some design with her cousin before... actually... not really, it was mostly just dipping a white shirt in colored dye and pretending they were designers of sorts. She supposed she wasn't allowed to do that here though... especially since she was supposed to use the black bags to make the shirt.

Sighing, Melanie just drew a basic outline of a shirt to the best of her ability and doodled inside of it.

Why didn't her first attempt work? Her first attempt during class worked. What went wrong in this one? Kat got disappointed. What, honestly, went wrong? She said the incantation right, didn't she? And she did the hand movement right. Maybe... the volume of her voice wasn't that loud enough. Psh.

Trying to Transfigure the rubbish bag again and wand at the ready, she was determined to do it again. "Summus Vestis," she said a little louder than her previous attempt. But then nothing happened AGAIN. Dear Merlin. WHAT NOW?!?!

The t-shirt Melanie had been sketching and doodling was scratched. She wondered how the actual designers did it. They must be crazy creative to be able to come up with so many different styles and slogans and the whatnot. Frowning, the girl tore the page out of her notebook and crumpled it up. Her t-shirt just looked like a mess or like some amateur graffiti artist had exploded all their spray paint cans all over it. Minus the color.

Maybe she ought to color her picture? Would that help at all? She sighed and lifted her pencil to the paper again. Maybe it would be easier if she started with a person then drew the clothes on the person. That would help right? Hopefully her art skills wouldn't abandon her the way they did all the time... actually, Melanie supposed she'd need to have art skills for them to even abandon her. After a little bit more coloring and a bit more sketching the t-shirt that she had originally thought up was completely scrapped and replaced with a new design. It looked simple enough. Plus, Melanie was a fan of collars and bows... and pink. Melanie walked over to where the black bags were and picked two up. Just in case something happened to the first.

She put it over her mannequin... that was what they were supposed to do right? Now the spell. What was it again? Summus Vestis... right? Melanie wondered if she ought to try to cast the spell first... or just try to get used to saying it. "Summus Vestis," Melanie said, after clearing her throat. "Sum-mus Vest-is," Melanie said again. It shouldn't be too difficult to say out loud. The wand movement didn't seem too difficult either. It was just a simple Z-formation... just like people with their snappy fingers. Melanie took out her wand though, practicing the wand movement over and over again.

It was easier to do the snappy finger z-formation thingy than it was to do the wand movement. ... Plus more fun.

No. No. NO. That idea about the Hulk and the candy and the crown would not do. She had to think of something better. Maybe a lion? No. Very un-original. And boring. And complicated. And there would be many copycats for that idea. Nuh-uh. She needed a better idea for a shirt, something easier to design. But the idea of something Gryffindor-y was cool. She could totally represent with that. But a lion was too hard. Lazy people like little Alice Fischer didn't do hard. No way.

So. No hardness whatsoever.

She tossed some more bits of paper in some random girl's hairspray-and-gunk-covered hair before turning back to her doodles. After taking a couple of coloured crayons and scribbling as neatly as possible, she managed to come up with a final design for her rubbish bag shirt. .. Well.. it wasn't the WORST design known to man.. but it possibly came in a close second. The reddish-orange and yellow crayons she had used to colour it formed a blend that was painful to the eyes. It ended in a zig zag of faded out stripes and.. it was very Alice-like. At least, she thought so.

Now for the hard part. Transfiguring.

Since Vivi had made pretty much the coolest jacket ever during her time in class, she was sort of dragging her feet to the classroom in order to spend more time practicing the spell again. She'd tapped out her creativity coming up with that jacket concept, and the thought of designing and creating another shirt was sort of overwhelming.

She kept hoping she'd come up with something genius just by staring at the mannequin and plastic bags. Inspiration could strike at any time. Or something like that.

Once in the classroom, Vivi gathered a couple of bags (in case of emergencies) and went looking down the line of mannequins for the one wearing her name. "Hello there, lovely," she bowed her head at the mannequin before draping the first bag over its head. Her head... Vivi-quin was a girl. "What would you like to wear today?"

Clothing. Right. If had hadn't been for certain older students somewhat taking Kurumi under their wing and telling her that stripes and polka dots did not really go together...Kurumi would be entirely lost.

HELLO! Had anyone seen her during the fashion seminar last term? She had mostly been mimicking her grandmother when she had come up with a pattern and the dress, well, it was something that she had seen in a magazine once - and still wanted it.

So when Kurumi entered the room Professor Magnus had set up for them to use for their homework...Kurumi felt looooooooooost. During the lesson she had barely managed a stripped t-shirt before Elijah had been half naked and talking about...things.

Which reminded her that she still needed to ask Lewis if he knew how to make his pecs dance like Elijah had. Hehe.

But, um, right...thinking about transfiguring clothing right now...not pecs. FOCUS HOLLINGBERRY!
Kurumi grabbed some trash bags - in case she melted one again, and walked over to the mannequins when she noticed Vivi - who got a finger wiggle greeting just as a light bulb went off in her head. "Heeeeeeeey Vivi," Kurumi greeted, finger still wiggling a little.

The Ravenclaw had managed to make a rather impressive looking jacket during the lesson, not to mention always seemed to be well put together in comparison to Kurumi...so maaaaaaaaaybe they could work together on this assignment? Yes. PLEASE?!

Kurumi slipped one of the trash bags over the mannequin in front of her and then sort of scooted it a little closer to Vivi's in an oh-so-obvious way.
