The Worple and Warmsley Magical Travelling CarnivalThe Worple and Warmsley Magical Travelling Carnival is here for the first time in Diagon Alley. Sponsored by all your favourite shops of Diagon Alley, the carnival is here for the summer! With magical rides and games, food stalls, knick-knacks and entertainment, this is a party for all ages that you won't want to miss.
Fancy a ride on the Magical Ferris Wheel? Only at Worple and Warmsley can you encounter a ferris wheel even taller than the London Eye. While the London Eye measures up to 443 feet, or 135 metres, our ride reaches an incredible 500 feet, or 152 metres. Each basket on the wheel has been enchanted to fit four people at a time; please do not attempt to squeeze in any more. Each basket is also equipped with one pair of sightseeing goggles for the curious rider to gaze out at the horizon that they tower above.
Please do not hang out of your baskets or rock them back and forth; we have taken many safety precautions and performed protective enchantments, but there is no guarantee that tomfoolery won't lead to endangerment.
Happy travels!
OOC: Feel free to interact with the Magical Ferris Wheel Carnie, Jean Lilliput (princess of*hp*), chat, play and please keep your hands and feet inside the basket at all times!
''Abigail!!! Oh this is Presley!!! Presley Abbie or Abigail Abb's this is Presley one of my best friends and we think Rachel's in the bathroom! my other best friend'' said Luna it would be great if Presley knew Abbie because somtimes she might hang out with her it would be great if they werein the same house but it would be easier if they weren't
''Really?? Why we were here for ages really!!'' said Luna
''Nice to meet you Presley'' Abbie smiled and held out a hand she had no idea what else to do ''Yes really Luna it's quite hard to find my way around here'' said Abbie not at all in a mean way

Jake smiled. He had convinced Maybelle to go. "I understand, I was kidding about your necklaces." He said, moving closer and closer to the front. "It's okay, Maybelle. I said I'll protect you, and I mean it." He said, realizing how scared she was.Seeing Isobel even HE was surprised that Isobel wasn't freaking out at the top of the ride.
''Great i'm not alone'' Luna laughed she was starving and she was glad the were going to eat!
''Well she said she'd be around here somwhere emmm?'' Luna looked around for Abbie ''She's not my real cousin by adoption I didn't even no she was going to Hogwarts untill today'' Which seemed awfull because well just plain awfull really
"Is she eleven then?" Presley asked curiously. That was really interesting. How many people adopted a child who was magical? Presley didn't know how common it was, but she didn't think it must be.

What kind of teacher would create an assignment like that?!
The ferris wheel continued to bring them further up -- about half way to the top at this point. Damien was continuing to process all that Isobel was telling him. She didn't seem to recall the fact that Maybelle (or rather Isobel herself) brought up the fact that the two girls talked about people they liked ...
Then a thought occured to him. "So that means that Maybelle was walking around as you -- right? At the same time you were walking around as Maybelle?" Ugh, now his head was really starting to hurt. Damien rubbed the back of his neck with the hand that asn't holding onto Isobel's. "Do you --- know a boy with a sort of bowl hair cut? Sort of blonde shade in colour?"
Isobel nodded, confirming that Maybelle had looked like her and vise versa. Suddenly a thought hit her; had he seen or talked to Maybelle when he thought she was her? If he had, Isobel wanted to know what he had seen or what they had talked about. And then she would punch Maybelle.
She considered the description; there could be many boys who looked like that. "Light blue eyes?" She asked. "I know someone like that; Luke." Luke...
How did Damien know about Luke? And how did he think Luka was connected with her. Admittedly, yes she had had a liiittle crush on him at the beginning of the year, because he was insanely cute too. But she had almost forgotten about Luke after she had met Damien. Damien was insanely cute too, and he had an Irish accent, and he made her feel comfortable.
She glanced at Damien questioningly, wondering why he had asked about Luke.

Luke. So he did have a name.
And now all this was going to come to a head. Lockhart said Isobel wasn't seeing anyone, but Damien was convinced he was wrong because he had seen Isobel kissing someone else. This -- Luke character. But if Isobel and Maybelle had been Polyjuiced as each other, maybe it wasn't really Isobel.
Which would also mean she did not have a boyfriend.
And what would that mean for them?
"In the library," he began, "towards the end of last term I --" he paused, starting to feel completely uncomfortable and vulnerable. "I saw who I thought was you. Kissing this -- Luke that you mentioned."
"But now I'm starting to get the feeling that it's possible it -- wasn't really you --"
He thought he was going to pass out, but not from the height of the ferris wheel. His heart started ouding so loud he was sure anyone within a 20 mile radius would be able to hear it.

Isobel was glad she was not eating anything. If she had been, she would have choked. As it was, her eyes widened and she just staaaared at Damien. Ke saw her-what?! Yep, Isobel was definitely going to kill Maybelle.
"Kiss?" She squeaked. "No way, I would never kiss Luke." Because she didn't like him, she had her eyes on somebody else. Not that she was going to tell him that of course. "That was definitely not me, I would not have kissed Luke."
Damien wasn't quite sure what the right reaction would be to this news. On the one hand he was overjoyed, elated and everything else above that she wasn't seeing Luke. That she hadn't kissed him. But on the other hand, it wouldn't and shouldn't matter to him either way if Isobel had kissed someone, had a boyfriend or had a crush on someone. The both of them have made it clear that they're just friends.
He chuckled lightly at the squeak in her voice. "Certainly had me fooled with the whole Polyjuice thing," he said. "Maybelle told me she had a boyfriend, though --" he paused then shook his head. "I mean -- well you told me Maybelle was seeing someone. So -- why would Maybelle kiss someone else while she was actually -- you?"
Seemed odd.
"Does Maybelle not like the guy she's seeing anymore?"

Isobel was still mostly in shock that Damien had thought she had kissed Luke. Maybelle had kissed Luke. Wait...Maybelle had kissed Luke? WHY?!
Isobel managed a small smile in Damien's direction. "I think a lot of people were fooled, the assignment was just...messed up." For lack of a better word. "Yes she did, or I did, whatever. She does, and I'm pretty sure she likes him. She acts like she does. He's my brother," she added as an afterthought even though it didn't really matter.
Something else occurred to her then, actually it was a memory. A memory of Damien being cold toward her, and it might not have had anything to do with her hugging him at all. It must have been about the kiss that he had thought he saw between her and Luke. "Damien," she said slowly. "O]Is that why you were...distant with me?" Why had he cared so much?

A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
"Woah" Daichi looked in awe at the ferris wheel in front of him. He had seen the thing from a good distance but now seeing it so close he had to tilt his head back to see the top. This was so cool! Actually, the whole Carnival was cool!
The second year took his eyes off the ferris wheel and looked around. Students and even some older people were stepping in the baskets. Daichi wanted to go in too. He had never been in one of these things and his curiousity increased by the minute. What would the view be like? He looked around for a second time, hoping to find someone that he knew because he didn't want to enter the ferris wheel alone. He sighed and waited until someone was going in the ferris wheel too.

Jake laughed. "You don't have to tell me. You just have to show me." He winked, kissing her lips one final time. Again, he laughed. "I'll be expecting that haunting." He said, sarcastically. Woah, they wwere at the front. Well, now or never to make a move. "M'lady." He said, taking a step ahead of Maybelle and held the gate-thingy open. He led Maybelle into the seat and made sure she was seated before sitting himself. He put his arm around her shoulders, giving it a slight squeeze. "You, are..beautiful." He said.
"Very true," Damien said, in response to Isobel's declaration that the assignment was, as she so put it, 'messed up'. What kind of professor would assign a Polyjuice assignment anyway? Wasn't it illegal to use it? Maybe not, but still.
The memory of the fight the two of them had at the end of last term came to his mind then, as Isobel questioned why he'd been so -- mean? Damien was never mean, but apparently in their case, he had been unkind towards her.
He ran his free hand through his hair and slowly nodded his head. "You could say that," he began. And he knew what her next question would be so he tried to intercept it. "Did I ever tell you that you're the first friend I actually made at Hogwarts? I usually kept to myself and figured that if I could just get through school, I could simply move on without any attachments."
He glanced over towards her. "Then I met you. And all of a sudden I found myself talking to nearly every student I saw, actually forming friendships with them. You were the first person I opened up to and I thought we were completely honest with each other --"
Even though Damien hadn't been completely honest with Isobel, but he ignored that fact.
"And I guess when I -- thought you were seeing someone else -- It made me think that you didn't really want to be honest with me." Ugh that didn't even make sense when he said it aloud.

She could say what? That he had been upset when he thought she was dating Luke? "Why?" Her voice was soft. She hadn't even realized she had spoken the word aloud, but she was kind of glad she did, because she wanted to know Damien's answer to that.
Isobel felt proud that she had been Damien's first friend, therefore she had standing above his other friends...maybe. Hopefully. Isobel smiled at him, happy at what he was saying. She liked having a best friend she could be completely honest with. And she was happy that she had persuaded him to come out of his shell.
His next statement brought her back to her earlier question; why? Why did he care? She was waiting to hear his answer.
Carrying the four year old on his back, Legend made his way through the mob of people. They were suppose to meet Orlando at the Ferris Wheel and Legend was sure that they were late. It actually wasn't Katie's fault they were late. She had told him that they should leave earlier. But Legend wouldn't have guessed that the street would be so packed. "Come on Katie!" He said, once Orlando was in view.
Without looking back he made sure that Hayley was holding on tight and ran toward his Gryffindor friend. "Orlando! What's up?"

Wheeeee! Hayley Diggory was, without a doubt, enjoying her day out. Her big blue-grey eyes couldn't seem to look far enough ahead, couldn't seem to take in enough of their surroundings as they went. So many pretty bright lights and changing colors everywhere. And she had the very best view from way up on Uncle Legend's back. She was a happy little camper, indeed.
Loosely hugging Legend's neck as not to choke him like she had tried to when he'd first picked her up, the four-year-old beamed when Legend began to run, her clasped hands tightening a little bit. Shifting to the side to see over his head and see Orlando, she kicked her flipflop clad feet in excitement. "Uncle Ornando!" Hayley squealed, happily trying to lean over and reach for him as she announced, "Auntie Kat and Uncle 'Eggen took me to the carnaval!"
Had he really just told her to hurry up? Katie stared after Legend, eyebrows raising. Hadn't she told him earlier that they needed to come? Yes, yes in fact she had. He was the one who thought it wouldn't be necessary. And here they were, weaving their way through large crowds of people while trying to locate the ferris wheel - which was easier seen from afar than it was found, - as well as find the soon-to-be Seventh year Gryffindor boy- young man. Thankfully, Orlando was rather tall too, and Legend was leading the way anyway.
Deciding it best to ignore that comment and simply follow after Legend, Katie quickened her pace and kept close behind the pair, not allowing herself to be seperated. Finally, Legend came to a stop and greeted their friend before she had even spotted him. A small smile formed on her lips at the sight of her too-tall best friend, "Hey Lando," Katie greeted, moving from Legend's side to hug the boy. Though it was a little unnecessary since it hadn't been more than a few days or so since they'd last seen each other, Lando still got a hug. "What have I told you about this growing thing? I thought we agreed you'd stop that," she added rather seriously, though amusement shown on her face.
Stepping back as she released him, Katie let her gaze wander up and over to the ride for a moment, not even bothering to try to find the top of it before looking from Legend to Lando and back again. "That thing is a monster, you know that right? Better hope Hayley doesn't have a fear of heights." Katie wasn't sure if the child did. It wouldn't have been such a surprise, but Savannah had never mentioned it to her. And well, if she didn't have one already.. Hearing another close voice, Katie turned her attention to the carnie woman that had addressed them. Another glance was stolen at the two young men before she answered, "Four, actually." Or.. three and a half, however she wanted to look at it.

Looking at others, some of them seemed to be dawdling around by themselves. "Step up, folks, step up!" Didn't these people want to make friends? Jean knew she wouldn't mind going on a ride in a group of strangers, but maybe it was different for customers with clique-centered mindsets and whatever else went through their heads.
FINALLY. He was here. THEY WERE HERE. "Dude. That ferris wheel. That's what is up." the boy said, still looking up. The boy's attention would have not wavered from the humongous WHEEL if Hayley hadn't spoken. Uncle Ornando.
Orlando smiled wide, turning to look at the little girl. "I would have been very sad, if they had not" he said, picking up the camera, which was hanging around his neck and taking a quick picture of her. It was a perfect pose.
When KT came into view and hugged him, Orlando grinned. It felt nice, having them all here. SO NICE. Especially since they wouldn't be returning to Hogwarts this year. "And I am still trying to stop but my body just refuses to listen"
Orlando nodded, hearing her next. "Yep. It's a monster, alright! And noo .. Hayley wouldn't be scared - now, would you bee?" He asked, the little girl on Legend's back - before holding out his arms for her to jump in. He wanted to hold her now. Not too much to ask, right?
Glad that the Ferris Wheel person already was getting them an empty basket to step in; Orlando walked in first. "Comee on!"

Truthfully, Presley was worried sick as well. Especially since Rachel was muggleborn and probably didn't know her way around the alley as well as say, Luna or Presley. She'd probably only been there a few times at most. So getting lost wouldn't be a hard task. "Does she have a cell? Muggle-borns usually do. We could find a pay phone in muggle London and call her." It was Presley's best idea. She didn't want to search, because then they'd all be lost and separated.

"Look at that," he breathed, leaning slightly over the side to looked at the ground. Funny - they were up this high and he was looking down. "Wow." He wasn't really talking to Ellie; the view was just amazing.
"Romantic?" he asked suddenly, turning back to Ellie with a smirk on his face.
Ellie couldn't help but lean up against Dallin as they looked over the edge of the basket together. It was nice being up so high, away from all the little people. Away from all the problems of the world, just Ellie and Dallin. Floating. And as corny as it sounds, Ellie lost all fear of heights because Dallin was with her.
Looking up at him and noticing his smirk, a smirk of her own tugged at her lips. "Very romantic." She said quietly, leaning closer to him. For being in his first relationship, Dallin was pretty good at the romance thing.
Marilyn sighed, climbing into the small car first. A sense of dread was pooling in her stomach. She was unsure how to respond to Caroline really. There was one thing she, as a girl, had never been subjected to...and that was jealousy. When she'd seen this girl with Carter upon first coming back, it had been...painful.
So...painful...
This wasn't her cousin's fault entirely, though. Carter had dated the whole family, it seemed. Ugh, and she REALLY hated that Marie had dated him. Oh MERLIN, she loathed that girl.
Clearing her throat as Caroline got in, she said, "So, how've you been?"
Caroline let her cousin in first and then she got in after. She took her seat. Now there was no turning back now. At least until the ride was over. It was the first time that she was alone with her. Besides the time that they were in the dorm. She shifted in her seat, uncomfrontably as she cleared her own throat. In the past 5 minutes of so her throat had gotten very dry.
How had she been?
"I've um okay." Was all she managed to get out. Okay sounded good enough for her to know. She wasn't going to let her know how she was truely doing. No one, really knew the truth about that. It was something that she was able to keep to herself, she prefered it that way. Sighing slightly. "What about you?" She had been faking smiles all summer and this one was the truest and smile all summer. But it really wasnt even a smile.

He asked Maybelle looking back at her. He turned once more and waved. "Isobel!" He called, hoping she would notice.

The past week of hanging out at the Carnival had proved itself to be extra fun for Louisa. And more importantly, a mind distract-er. She needed both so bad this summer.
Walking to the middle of where it's settled down, she watched the games and paid attention to the kids running around either giggling or eating sweets or something. The balloons were everywhere thanks to the jelly-tummy man, the 'wow's were loud thanks to the lady who could bend her body around.. or something. It couldn't be anymore cheerful. And for once, the Ravenclaw girl did not hold a book under her arm as she strolled looking for a new adventure. Either on her own or with a friend. Because after Dallin, there was no adventure pal- she was convinced of that.
After admitting that he had practically memorised the whole Diagon Alley, had stepped on every stone of it, and had done any and every single thing that could be done, João finally decided to visit the Carnival and he was now watching the people around the wheel with a slight odd feeling. His logic told it was silly to ride a wheel; while his interest told him that this one went even higher than the London Eye and provided a better view of the city. It was worth a shot... if only he had a girl someone to ride it with.
Looking around, feeling himself quite silly since he only knew only a few people around here to spot any in this massive crowd; he did catch a glimpse of someone... taking a few steps towards her, a small smirk crossed his face. This was the girl who tried to call him Jay. Making his way to her with a small smirk ready to get bigger, he greeted him with a "Olá." He would have gone on in Portuguese, but she was incapable of even trying to pronounce his name. Why bother?
"How are you?" Yup, although she refused to even try, he still wanted to talk to her. She was like a magnet.

She was making her way toward the Magical Ferris Wheel where she could sit in a basket and gaze out at the Diagon Alley or wherever the view was sup-

Oh. Jay. Her face relaxed, instantly, and she put a hand over her chest to easen down her heartbeats, "Hi." She said with a big smile that fell after a second, "What did you call me?" Ola? Olea? What? And what did it mean?! She wanted to know right NOW!
"I'm fine. Thanks. You?" No chatting and friendly words until he explained himself. He wasn't the nicest person and who knew what foreign people said in front of local ones in those languages. She should investigate about Portuguese language as soon as she had the time to.

As they got higher and higher slowly, Josh felt like he was getting excited however he knew it had nothing to do with the ferris wheel ride. It was, very well, because of the fact that he had his beloved with him and they were getting away and away from the crowd as the ferris wheel moved.
Taking a deep breath, he stared back at Evelyn right into her adorable hazel eyes and a warm, sincere smile appeared on his face when she asked the next question. ''As high as my love can take you.'' He could not name a certain height, though, because... ''And i don't think its possible for any known ways to measure my love for you. Numbers can go forever.''
As high as his love could take her?
That was rather poetic in a way.
A way in which made her shy smile appear once more. Leaning against the side of the of the basket, she looked over and down, not realizing that they were already pretty high up. Wasn't expecting that! Taking a deep and calming breath, before getting up slowly and moving to sit next to her boyfriend. She wasn't scared or anything, but she missed his arms around her. "Perhaps we'll have to try sometime." she said quietly, leaning against him slightly. "See how far up we can go."
She wasn't too fond of going into space, so however far up in the sky they could go. The Slytherin would be up for doing that. With Josh that is.
