Ama is amazing.
Right! I'm Crystal, or Crystal Ball as some of you may know me. I've been around for a long time but this marks my first foray into the wild, wild world of SS fanfiction challenge-y things. I chose Andromeda Black because, well let's face it, we never really got to know too much about dear old Andy did we?She's recently become a favorite of mine so I'm here to expand upon her past,of which we only know two things: She was disowned for marrying Ted Tonks and she was Sirius' favorite.
I'm going to try my best to bring to light one of the more mysterious characters in the Wizarding world, and I hope you enjoy whatever crazy ride I take you on.

The letter? Written on heavy parchment paper. The words? Evocative of a constrained yet polite young woman rather than the dark haired first year who had sent said missive.

The door banged open and Andromeda flung herself into the empty classroom, color high on her pale cheeks. She’d run up the moving staircase, even petrified a couple of first years in order to escape her ardent suitor. Shutting her eyes momentarily, she caught her breath.
Other girls were jealous, but did they know how embarrassing it was having a boy bellowing your name in the halls as though you’d taken his entire heart and soul with you wherever you went? Moving from her hiding spot, she peeked around the doorway.
“ ANNNNNNNDY!”
Merlin’s pantaloons!! Potter had found her.
AGAIN.

Pale pink frosting covered the heart shaped cakes, blending in rather nicely with the plump strawberries that sat atop of said pastries. They were fresh too; a special order from Puddifoots.
Andromeda chuckled lightly. “Two of hearts, hmm? Well, no one ever said sisters couldn’t share that sentiment.” She said, tossing a little glance back at her younger, blonder sister. “Mother would be absolutely appalled .” said the older girl, looking at the cakes again.
She grinned. “ Which is why we really ought to eat both, unless you’re sharing that for someone…special.” Andy eyed Cissy. “ Well, are you?”

She's A Rebel
Quell
Fancying someone was not foreign to Andromeda Black.
However, prior to now, she had only felt this way for boys who were proper, befitting her station.
This time, her fancy seemed to focus on the affable, witty Hufflepuff
she’d only started noticing at the end of third year. The very handsome, very Muggleborn Hufflepuff
who saw her as Andy, not Andromeda Black.
Her whole life she’d been deft at ignoring
that which was not approved; However, these were feelings
that she could not quell, no matter how hard she tried.
It made her smile to herself, more often than not.
