*Professor Hanamon walks into the classroom with a large box and sets it on her desk*
I hope my students arrive soon...we have a lot to cover today! She thinks as she sits down in her chair and opens her copy of the text book to make extra notes about todays lesson.

Amy stood up to retrieve the feather. There was a lonesome little fluffy feather dangling on the edge of Professor Dae's desk. Amy could see it's black tip-
She imagined the feel of wood scraping against her palm as if she had picked up the feather, and raised her wand, wrist and concentration tight.
"Accio!" She chanted, turning her wand in a counter-clockwise circle and flicking at the end. The tiny feather jumped up and floated towards her. Only after the black-tipped feather lay in her hand did Amy smile.

Leah looked at the feather, while thinking to herself to concentrate. She had done this many times before. "Accio.." The feather came towards her with no problems. She then smiled and kept practicing.

Bailey stood across from her feather and raised her wand. She performed the proper wand movements and clearly said, "Accio!" After nothing happened, she tried again, five more times to be exact. Getting discouraged, she looked around to see how her classmates were doing with the charm.

*Jessica looked at her feather and grabbed her wand, nearly snapping it in two she was about to cast the charm when she raised her hand* Um professor? when you cast the spell, dont you also have to name what you're summoning? like in this case, you should say "accio feather"? *she looked up curiously at the professor*

"Whoops!" She put it out. She attempted the spell once more. "Accio feather!" The feather came flying into her hands after a second attempt. "Wow, I got it!"

*Jessica looks at natalya and smiles* ok, well, i'll give it a try. *she looked at her feather and stepped back a few steps, then cried* Accio! *she held out her non-wand hand and saw the feather stir from its postition then it inched forward about 5 inches and then stoped and fell to the floor.* hmm, i'll just try again. *she looked up at the teacher and then at natalya*

After vishu finished jotting down whatever the professor said.She picked pick up her feather and took placed it a bit away from her."Accio" she said and she saw the feather slowly drifting towards her.wow!she thought its actualy working on the first try! right after this thought the feather fell on the ground.woops! she tried again and this timethe feather came drifting towards her.

Jordan caries her feather over to the otehr side of the room and walks back. She looks at the feather and concentrates.
"Accio feather!" she said clearly.
The feather flew across the room and right into her outstretched hand. She grinned and looked around to see how her classmates were doing.

Francis picks up her feather and places it in a corner. Then, taking a few steps back, she bings to practice. "Accio!" she says calmly. The feather shot towards Francis, however, it changed it course and hit the other side of the room.
Muttering, Francis walks over to pick up her feather.

*Professor Hanamon glanced around at all of her students and all the feathers that were floating around the room and beamed with happiness.*
Wonderful class!! You are all doing so well, I am very proud of you 
*as the students continue to practice, Professor Hanamon walks to the chalkboard and begins to write down this weeks homework assignment.*
It reads:
Please answer the following multiple choice questions. This assignment will be worth 5pts.
1. WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER WHEN CASTING THE SUMMONING CHARM?
A. To keep your eyes shut and think about somthing other than the object you are trying to summon.
B. To make sure your wand is pointed the opposite direction of the way you want to cast the charm.
C. To know the general direction of the object to be summoned.
2. WHAT IS THE PROPER WAND MOVEMENT FOR THE CHARM TO WORK?
A. A counterclockwise circle and then flick.
B. A figure 8 motion above your head.
C. Just flick it as hard as you can.
3. WHAT IS THE PROPER PRONOUNCIATION OF THE INCANTATION "ACCIO"?
A. AK-ee-oh
B. A-see-oh
C. Both A and B
*when done writing the assignment on the board, the professor turns around to find most of the students have mastered the charm and are actually getting bored.*
Class, you have all done very well today. As soon as you write down your assignment for this week and bring me your feathers you may be excused...Class Dismissed!!

Serena had just summoned her feather without a hitch when she heard the teacher's announcement. She quickly went to her desk and wrote down the assignment.
Before leaving she handed her feather to the Professor. "Thanks Professor Hanamon. Now if I can only get this to work when I need it! Great class!"

Lacey glanced at the bored and summoned her feather quill lazily. She was pleased that she could do this charm well, but, after all, Charms had always been an easy subject for her. It was Potions that was particularly difficult.
She scribbled down the assignment in her notebook and packed up her bag. Swinging it over her shoulder, she nodded at Professor Hanamon before swiftly walking out of the classroom.
