The windows are open and a crisp fall breeze is blowing through the Arithmancy classroom in preparation for another day of learning. Professor Domingo, clad in earth tones to match the season, stands near the front of the room shuffling her notes to be organized and ready for today. A notice is written on the chalkboard in her handwriting: "Take out the list of three people I asked you to prepare and set it on your desk."
OOC: You may RP chatting, but please nothing excessive. The lesson will begin in a few hours.

Adi smiled at Professor Domingo and nodded. It seemed the lady knew Professor Hadley well. At any rate, that came in handy because he was pleased to hear that his interpretations for his Head of House had been correct.
The Puffer waited patiently for the others to finish up. In the meanwhile, why not read something from the text book? That might be boring but hey. It was better than wasting time.

It was..... hard. Making links he didn't believe were there.
But, maybe they WERE there, just, it wasn't as obvious?

And what that would manifest into over the rest of his time here, he had no idea. But, this was Arithmancy, not Divination, right? They were different, no? (despite the overlaps)

Having finished up with her theory on each person she lightly pushed the parchment to the top of her desk and placed her quill down beside it.

Glancing around the room she saw most everyone else had finished as well. Now just to wait and see what would come next.

No, she had not accidentally missed him. She had PURPOSEFULLY missed him. The boy seriously needed some medication or something. Didn't muggles have little round, chalky objects they shoved down the throats of boys who were incapable of sitting still? He should look into those. "Apparently I did," was all she said about it. "Acceptable," was the only comment she made after looking at his page. Actually it was quite detailed, but she couldn't bring herself to praise him very highly.

As everyone finished their work, Professor Domingo announced that class was dismissed. Jasmine felt pretty good about her work today. This time everything made sense. She hoped that she had finally turned a corner in terms of her Arithmancy skills. She packed her things and headed toward the door. On the way out she said, "Gracias Profesora""Hasta la próxima vez"

Acceptable? ACCEPTABLE WAS GOOD. Toby grinned at the Professor, proud of himself for getting it right at least. "Thanks Professor."
Such a happy kid, RIGHT? Right.
But then they were all done, and Toby was silently very thankful, sitting at a desk like this was making his legs more and more restless and he was ready to get up and goooooooo. Maybe an extra long run this evening. Yeah.
After quickly fanning his parchment to make sure the ink was nice and dry, Toby tucked his notes inside his textbook for safekeeping and stowed that away inside his bag. He got to his feet (well, sort of jumped to his feet more than anything) and gave the Professor another smiled.
"Thanks for the lesson, Professor Domingo. I might come visit you later for some Arithmancy tips. OWLs this year and all." Just so she was prepared aware.
With that, Toby gave a wave and bounced away left.

Ian had been sitting there rather bored, doodling something about the sea and boats and sea monsters (were they really monsters, or were they just misunderstood). He heard the professor speak and say that was it. She wasn't going to see if things were good or not? Or if they had interpreted correctly or anything? Ian felt like he was leaving this class less knowledgeable about arithmancy than when he had stepped through the door. He put his things away, slung his satchel over his shoulder and headed out the door with a wave to the mean lady who didn't teach. Adios, profesora! At least the class gave him a chance to practice his very rudimentary spanish skills.

Neither do I though, Professor so I think that everyone would like his potion. Plus, I can get him to teach me how to brew it and I can give some to Simon because his lifepath number was 2 as well. And I think that the career stuff is also pretty accurate if you think about it like a potioneer. 'Cause Kevin would be taking care of a lot of details when he's making potions. You do one thing wrong and you're whole potion vanishes, I'd know Professor, Professor C is brutal. But Kevin would pay attention to details with that and also he'd gather facts about the ingredients because he wouldn't want to mess it up.
Running up to Professor Domingo as she dismissed them, he held his paper out to her to see if she approved of his last interpretation.

Norah packed her bag and walked towards the exit. "Thank you, professor." She didn't know any spanish, and she didn't think saying goodbye in French would have any use, so she just stuck to English. Boooring. She couldn't help but to smile to herself as she left the classroom. It wasn't every day that a girl kind-of-ish understood Arithmancy for the first time.

Oh the lesson was over? No complaints from this Gryffindor. She'd seen the smug look the Professor gave her and she'd let the woman have it this time from lack of an explanation for the accuracy that was her and her father's reading. Alexa collected everything she'd taken from her bag then hopped up from her seat.

Professor Domingo approved of her work, which made Lux smile more. It was nice to get approval especially since sometimes the interpretations were pretty hard. And it was time to leave now. He shoved his things into his bag, not even neatly, and then rose from his seat, pushed in his chair and moved to exit the classroom. He needed cake. Desperately.
"Goodbye..." he murmured to the Professor Lady on his way out the door. Yeah, no thanks, because he didn't particularly feel like thanking the person who UNFAIRLY took points from him. And Professor Airey would be hearing of it. Yep.

Why was this boy mutely holding a page of scribbles right in front of her face? She backed away so he was no longer invading her personal space. What did he want from her, approval? Fine, he could have it as long as he kept his distance. "Definitely on the right track. I hope Mister Hirase grows into this role you have discovered for him sooner rather than later." Or that she didn't encounter the boy in classes for a very long time. "Good day, Mister Adair."
