Adi could see Sophie wanted him to lead the way to the Photo Booth. No problem. He did just that. He wanted to hold out his arm so she could link hers through his but decided against it. The kiss was enough of a surprise, yes? He was not about to push his luck.

As they neared the Booth, he commented, ''Since I'm Half Blood we have a bit of both though it's mostly muggle photos.'' The Puffer then realised he didn't know anything about Sophie's family. "Are you Pure blood? Have you got any siblings beside Caleb? Did you tell your parents that I asked you to be my Valentine?'' oops. There he went again, asking multiple questions at once.

"Same here,'' Adi said. "I'm glad we're not nervous. Or feeling awkward.'' Hehe. Imagine trying to enjoy this event feeling either of those. "I'm still kind of surprised I got the prettiest girl in school for my Valentine.'' Adi knew quite well what he just said. This wasn't like the kiss where it just sort of happened. Still, this didn't prevent him from going light red in the face again.

Fortunately, they arrived at the Booth just at that moment and were greeted with the sight of the Prefects. "Hi, Ella! Hey Mo and Super Alec!'' He figured Sophie knew them, too. Right?

Okay so the Photo Booth. They just accessorize and go right in. Or at least that's what he figured.

"HEY! I can change my mind if I want." Isn't that what she was always telling him when she changed her mind on things about a hundred times a day. "Besides I am just being a giraffe for today." BECAUSE SOMEONE CALLED DIBS ON THE LION FIRST!

While he might not have been able to see the eyebrows, Mikey knew what she meant. Only cuz, he was thinking the exact same thing. Who knew that kissing could never get boring?

So with that thought in mind, he headed straight for the photobooth, pulling back the curtain and stepping inside. And it was small. Really small. "You wanna sit or stand?"

He wasn’t going to come out, was he? He was going to stay in that booth until she left because he was still upset and—Cassia. Ella stopped all unnecessary panicking and smiled at the Slytherin, feeling rather sheepish after hearing the compliment. ”Hey! I-thank you. You look really pretty.” It was always nice to see everyone all dressed up, not that Cassia wasn’t pretty anyway. This school was full of beautiful people.

And how adorable were the little Gryffindor fairy and the boy she was with? Were they on a date? Ahh, young love. Ella smiled a little at them, watching their interaction from afar and waiting for the boyfriend person to show his face. Had they been like this way back when? Hm.

There he was. Ella noticed the forced smile first and foremost and it was almost enough to warrant a frown but she did her best not to. This was supposed to be fun, remember? The compliment felt a bit forced too but she ignored the sinking feeling in her stomach because…yeah. It was just better that way. ”Thanks. You look nice too.” He always did so that was sort of stating the obvious but still. Following his gaze towards the stage, she nodded vaguely at what he’d said and then her green eyes found his grey-blue ones and she bit her lip. Did he really want to know?

”Yeah, I am. I…danced a bit. Bands great, you should get closer and check them out.” She could go with him…if he wanted. ”Are you having fun?” Important question, that was.

And then he went off to be helpful and Ella was left to her thoughts which was never good. Thankfully Adi popped up and the Head Girl smiled, waving at him. "Hey there. Having fun?"

Seemed to be the question of the night.

Lucas stuffed his hands into his pockets and nodded. "Gottttt it, Owlie. You OWE me one then. A proper hug, nothing wimpy." After all, it was better than nothing and he was totally willing to compromise. Or just agree.

OH MAN. WAS HE BLUSHING BECAUSE OF HER?

Lucas pulled a sheepish face, ducking his head because he couldn't meet her eyes when his cheeks were literally on fire. "Yesss, cos I'm so prettttty see," he replied, stuttering on his forced nonchalance. He was like.. totally pretty. And her compliments were totally fine. And true. Most importantly, true. It was just that his brain couldn't process his forced self confidence and ended up lighting up his face. HOW DID ABBI DO IT? All sassy and cute all the time. "...thanks buddy," he mumbled, sincerely. She didn't even think he was a total baby. #WINNING

"YEAH COS IM FUNNY DUH." He laughed and nudged her playfully, just because, well, momentary touching was still TOUCHING right?! "..is this like your favourite holiday?" Except.. ".. is this even a proper holiday?" His fidgety brain sprang to the thought of Christmas and the EPIC missed opportunity that had been the traditional mistletoe. SERIOUSLY. He mellowed inwardly before the idea of kissing someone freaked him out ENTIRELY and he quickly changed the subject to: "What do you wanna be when you grow up, huh?" WHAT? WHERE DID THAT COME FROM? She was going to think he had the attention span of a goldfish.

...."I would never say no to a present. Ever." But, then again. "If you see a hug that's looking lonely, you could totally nudge it my way." What a cheeeeeeseball. But he GRINNED for good measure as they got to the photo booths.

"EPIC. I'll get the glasses and you get the wiiiiiiings..."

Speaking of which..
HEADBOY. "HIIIIIIIIII." Lucas did wonder if he remembered him and felt obliged to offer, "Lucas, from the thing. The photography thing." Yeah. He wasn't exactly memorable. So. Just in case, right?

Ah. Pink wings. "Ooh, they're really sparkly, Abbi." And they'd kinda match!

Kace really wanted to go visit the photo booth. This was one of the attractions there that he really wanted to do. He wanted to keep photos of his best friends. Plus Awarlesta was gonna meet him here. He could even show the photos to Bell and she could remember her.

As he made his way to the booth, he noticed it was a little crowded. He waited on line for a little bit, plus he had to wait for his friend so he was in no rush. He waited patiently and he hoped these photos would come about great.

Awar popped up next to her buddy, "Heeeeeeeeeyyy, whoa this line is long." She counted a few heads in front of them, "Ehh, not that much. It'll go by fast. It's just a smile, snap, snap, print, finite!" Right? She wanted a few pictures actually. Manolo was bugging her by saying that she didn't have friends because she had only like one picture of her friends and EVEN THEN he didn't believe it because she wasn't it. Pfffft, he claims to have a girlfriend now and she hasn't seen proof of that either, so maybe he should keep his mouth shut, yeah?

He jumped back because he was in the middle of a deep thought. "Wooaahh i did not see you coming. You kind of scared me." he smiled and chuckled. "I think it will go by fast.." he nodded standing on his tip toes to get a look at the line. Then the line got shortened and now they were the first ones up.

"Alright we are up!" he smiled. He got into the photo-booth. Now this thing was awesome! Oh so apparently they had to pick a theme. He would ask Lesta on this. "So we have to pick a theme any suggestions?" he asked his friend.

Scared him? "Good!" She joked, shoving him playfully. Whoa, she thought it'd go fast, but not this fast! Yay!

She settled into the photobooth with her best friend, "A theme? Hmm..." Awar reached into the prop box, "I don't know, your choice!" She said, snapping on a clown nose and giving Kace a big, goofy grin.

"Aaahh heyyyy.." he said shoving her back playfully. He smiled and chuckled. As they both settled in, he saw her reach for the prop box. She said it was his choice but once he saw her slap on the clown nose, he did not think it was a good idea. He wasn't particularly fond of clowns. He decided on a new theme. He saw pirate stuff and instantly picked that.

"How about we be pirates!?" he said trying to poke her with the sword. Then he put on his eye patch and smiled.

"Ooh pirates sound fun!" She placed a pirate's hat on her head and reached for the fake beard under a pair of huge sunglasses. "How do I look?" She asked, sticking the furry thing on her face, "Does my beard match my shoes?"

Kace couldn't help but chuckle. He replied while laughing, "Well...you...look..ermm..unique?" he said. "I do not know if woman pirates had beards..." he told her. "But if they did, you are soo rocking it!" he gave her a thumbs up.

He got a pirates hat, an eye patch, the whole outfit was here. He even managed to find another mustache. He approved of it. "How do you like mine?" he asked. It was really itchy but he would only have to wear it for a tiny bit for the photo.

Awar smiled and twirled her fake mustache, "I'm part of the secret society of bearded lady pirates!"

She laughed when Kace put on his mustache, "Very manly, indeed!" Awar turned to the camera, "Ready?"

"I know i am very manly.." he said smiling and stroking his mustache. He thought it looked great on him. She asked if he was ready and he told her, "Once sec..." as he was adjusting his hat and eye patch and beard. Once they looked perfect, he nodded and said, "I am soo ready."

He turned towards the camera and asked, "Should we do a silly face first or normal smile?"

They had a deal then. Her little ringlets bounced about as she nodded. "But in PRIVATE, okay?" Like after this maybe alone, in her fort in the common room or something. Otherwise no hugs for him.

LOLOLOLOLOL.

Abbi found this all hilarious, but she stiffled her giggles because she'd feel awfully terrible laughing at Roda like that, it probably wasn't something he could control anyways. "You are, you're a DROP DEAD GORGEOUS THANG." She winked a little then let the giggles burst out."Anytime." Her beamy smile remained as the after effect of her giggles.

"OBVIOUSLY." She gave him a 'HUH' sort of a look. Like did he not realize he was funny and awesome already? Gosh he must of had a sad life not to know how awesome he was then. "HECK NO. I like Christmas with PRESENTS and SANTA and SUGAR." Yep Christmas had to be her thing and it was also SO close to Donny's birthday. "What's yours?" She asked deciding it was only fair to return his questions, but he kept on with his. "Ummmmm I want to be a fairy...okay well..I can't really be that so maybe a vet, or a candy maker, or I'm not so sure. AND YOU?" Yes another question bounced back to him. So what did he want to be, Mr Randomooo?

Now that. THAT. That earned him a HARD nudge.

"Eeeeeyyyy.Later OKAY?" Dramatic sigh.

"Yes, yes ----OH PINK WINGS. PINKETY PINK WINGS." Her eyes went all sparkly at the head boy and then at the trunk he was rummaging through. YES SHE WANTED THEM. "No, no. Pink is fine. I'll definitely wear them." Tons of beams followed and then smiley looks at Ms Head Girl over there. Had she been looking this way a few moments ago, Abbi could of sworn so.


"Mhmmmm. Dem Sparklies." Her eyes were back to Lucas. "You cool with just those glasses?" Like he didn't want an epic cape or anything else too?

If he could read her mind, Alec would have assured the Head Girl that there wasn't anything forced about the compliment. She looked great. Really. And this felt awkward so, naturally, the boy reached up a hand to ruffle...

... oh. Right. Tophat.

He readjusted it instead before smiling a little at her. "Anytime! And thanks. It's not as comfy as the jumpers but it's okay." The shirt. And tie. ... She... might not have needed to know that but... Shrug. He cast this aside and, instead, concentrated on her eyes. And the way she was biting her lip. Was... that a good sign or...?

... And... the mention of the dance. Cue uncomfortableness. "Sounds like it was fun. I'm glad," Nodnod. "They're really talented, the band members. I might check them out later." For that and food reasons. And she could come along if she wanted. "Yeah, erm... everything seems to be running great. Mo and I were testing out the photobooth to make sure it works." Which explained the hats.

The arrival of another person made Alec smile even more. ... Or... another two people. "Hey Adster!" Wave! And... "Hey... Sophie, right?" Sophie... Sophie... the name rang a bell from somewhere but he couldn't put his finger on it. The Head Boy had heard quite a bit about the girl or... ... she had come up in a conversation before? He... didn't really kno--

CUTTY! Didn't she like Cutty? Had she moved on? Questions. Head Boy had them.

He also had two other people to help so... giving the two a smile and a nod -- he didn't need to tell them to behave, right? -- he turned back to Abbi and... GRIN. "Hey Lucas!" See? Enthusiastic. Alec loved it. "Yeah, I remember! It's great to see you again." Nodnod. "Your hair's looking great, by the way." It curled in a way that his own grey locks didn't. Sigh.

Enthusiastic Abbi was enthusiastic too. Which... made Alec wonder... about these two... ... Sure, this was a friendly, neutral side of the whole thing but... they wouldn't make a bad couple, you know? ... Right. Job. Picking out the sparkly pink wings, he held them up and out for the girl to see. "What do you think, you two? Good? Bad? Could do with more glitter?" Because he wasn't an expert on this.

... Pause. "And whenever you're ready, you just can head inside and take your pictures. The camera changes the background to a specific theme." Grin.

There he goes again, growing up right before her eyes. Awar gets so emotional about Kace growing up, it's like Belle took over her soul to watch over her brother or something.

What pose should they do first, hmm. "How about we do the unoriginal way and take a silly picture first!"

"YES!" he was glad they were on the same page. "Let's do it!" he said looking the camera. "Alright look at the camera..." he said and he saw her looking and then the camera took their picture. The bright flash dazed him a little bit. He saw bright white dots.

"Alright onto the second picture! Lets do....a duck face!" he said puckering up his lips.

Lucas resisted rolling his eyes. "For the third time, I gettttt it." He

Did Abbi realise the compliments were like kryptonite to his facial blood vessels? Was she turning him into a crimson human on PURPOSE? He clasped his hands over his cheeks and shhhhhhed her. "You'relikebeinguhtoonice. My brain doesn't respond so well to uh, niceness." And then she WINKED and his eyes widened. How DARE SHE. "How come you don't blush, huh? Do you have nerves of steel then?" he mumbled at her, slowly prying his fingers off his inflamed cheeks. "Or are you just used to praise being showered upon you. ...deservingly. BUT STILL."

He did beam at her, red faced and embarrassed and all. Because it was NICE and he was kind of obsessed with hearing how much she liked him. It felt a lot like elementary school gold stars.
Lucas had JUST been thinking about how much of a missed opportunity Christmas had been but it was her favourite holiday TOO? "Christmas IS awesome. Plus you can go home for a little bit. ...did you go home this year?" he asked, squinting at her. He couldn't remember seeing her on the train but then.. he'd slept through most of it, trying to ignore James RANTING at him about his new girl. "..Christmas is the BEST, obviously I agree! Mainly because Mum does this treasure hunt for my brother and I and its THE BEST. James won last year and got to them first but I think he cheated." It had NOTHING to do with the fact that Lucas couldn't unscramble the clue to save his LIFE.

A vet sounded like the COOLEST occupation ever. "You get to cuddle puppies all day. Maybe you can do all of them. Be a fairy candy making vet." That sounded EPIC. He knew that she'd just parry the question back to him but he wasn't as sure as he HAD been. "I thought I wanted to be a Healer.. but, uh.. well.." And this was SERIOUSLY embarrassing but, "I don't meet all the requirements.." Like.. the spelling and the potions. JEEEZ. It was a serious buzz kill.

Oooooffffph.

Lucas just pouted, rubbing his side and pulled his BEST puppy expression. "Joke." Hmph.

He grinned as she put on the wings and made a sudden dive for the box as she spoke, emerging with a cape. "DUH CAPE. Smartie pants." The girl obviously knew his hobbies. The cape however was the wrong colour. Yellow made his hair look kind of green and weird. BUT. He had a handy Headboy present didn't he?

Lucas beamed as Alec remembered his name, soaking up the attention like a sponge. "REALLY?!" His HAIR? Yeah. It was pretty cool. Like spaghetti, he thought. "Thanks duuuude!"

Speaking of which, "the wings are AWESOME. But uh, hey, and its like totally fine if you can't, but.. can you, well.. make this PURPLE?" Because. Well, duh. Hawkeye was his HERO.

And then they were like TOTALLY set. Abbi looked AWESOME. Like prettier even. She was getting prettier as the night got on, he was SURE of it.

"Reaaaaady?" he asked her.

Sophie couldn't decide how she felt as she and Adi made her way across the Great Hall. On one hand, she was still soooo nervous. First date and all, ya know. On the other hand, she felt really cool, kinda like how the older kids must feel. She also hoped Caleb was looking. Sophie had a REAL date, and all Caleb got to do was kiss somebody at a kissing booth. BWAH HAHA!

Sophie turned toward Adi as he started to say something. Then a string of questions followed, and she grew wide-eyed trying to to catch up. "Uhhh, that's a lot of questions," she said with a grin. An amused grin, that is. "Okay, let's see. Pureblood. No, and...no. Those are the answers." She hesitated then said, "Well, my dad is actually half-blood, so maybe that makes me half-blood, too." Although, she usually lied and told people she was a pureblood.

Now it was her turn to ask the questions. "My turn. What made you ask me to be your Valentine?" she said, deciding to try for a hard one. "No pressure and all." Then he sort of, kind of answered that. "Prettiest girl in the whole school?" WHOA. "Adi, do you really think that?" Now Sophie felt EXTRA awesome! She looked down at the box of accessories and added, "Accessorize or no?"

Blink. Blink. That was brighter than expected. She wouldn't be surprised if her silly face ended up being a confused, flash face. Blegh.

Duck face??? Awar saw like 20 girls a day doing this pose. She tried to mimic what she saw by pursing her lips and jutting them out, "Like this?"

Kace chuckled when Awar was puckering up her lips and jutting them out. "Yup like that totally perfect." he gave her the thumbs up. He did the duck face and then the camera flashed. Then he wanted to do a funny pose. "Alright funny pose!" he said sticking out his tongue and putting bunny ears behind her head.
