Well. He wasn’t attracting any attention at all.

There was Louis, sticking out like a sore thumb in the middle of the courtyard. He sat by the fountain, the bouquet of pink roses in his right hand making a sharp contrast with the white, fluffy snow covering the scene. He had sent Delilah a note earlier, asking she meet him in the courtyard that afternoon. It had been a few days since he'd promised her the roses, so it was time to pay up. She'd certainly paid her part of the deal.

Watching the students pass by absentmindedly, Louis waited for the Hufflepuff girl. Hopefully she hadn't decided to leave him hanging or something 'cause wow, that would suck.

Lux found herself laughing as Emma joked. Awesome, the girl was getting over what had happened. "Maybe we can go there together some time and you can help me get better? We can have lots of fun!" She was sure that Emily had some awesome moves, and she was always eager to learn. Skating was something she wanted to master. "It's hard but I think the Professor is pretty nice. Or at least he seems to be to me." She had a feeling that the Professors generally liked her, because they smiled at her and were rather encouraging.

Oooh, so someone didn't like the heat. "So you aren't a big fan of summer and tanning?" Lots of girls seemed to be really big on tanning. But that did not interest Lux much; instead, she preferred swimming.

Okay. This had better be something SUPER important, Louis. Because it took this girl a freaking hour to get ready. She was probably wearing like four layers of clothing.. It was just so chilly! Gosh. This stupid weather. Can it be summer already?

Delilah buried her hands deep in the pockets of her jeans as she briskly made her way to the courtyard, her cheeks already flushed from the cold. Now, where was Lou----

... He had flowers in his hand. Specifically, pink roses. And they looked so beautiful. She smiled slowly and walked towards him, her eyes on the flowers for another moment before they met his eyes. "Hey, there."

Louis, who was about ready to just lay down on the ledge of the fountain and take a nap, looked up when someone spoke. As he caught sight of Delilah standing there, he smiled, getting up to his feet to greet her.

"Hey." Noticing how cold she seemed, he couldn't help feeling a little bad for making this their meeting place. Oops. "I've brought you something." Though he guessed Delilah would've figured as much when she saw the roses, which he proceeded to hand over to her. "Got these delivered all the way from France," he bragged with raised eyebrows, mostly teasing. No, but really. His granny had a house in France and offered to send him flowers directly from her garden. Of course, that also came along with a very nosy and teasing letter from the woman.

.......... France?

Delilah stared at him, quite unbelieving. Honestly, she thought he'd forgotten all about the flowers.. and honestly, she'd kind of forgotten about them too. But, not only did he remember but he apparently got them delivered all the way from France.

"Thanks." She accepted the flowers and immediately proceeded to bury her face in them. They smelled so lovely.. that it was almost making her giddy. Oh, wow. She finally looked up at him and smiled. "No, really. These are just so beautiful.. I love them." Flowers made her so happy, in general. Happy!sigh. She debated giving him a small cheek!kiss but decided against it. Nope.

"So..." Delilah sat by the fountain, looking down at the roses again. "These are really from France, huh?" The fact that he brought these for her was all that mattered but she was still curious.

Louis chuckled softly when Delilah began smelling the flowers like she hadn't seen a rose in years. If he'd known she was THAT much of a fan, he would've gotten them sooner. "Glad the lady approves." Whew.

Louis sat beside the girl as she proceeded to sit, asking about the flowers' place of origin. The boy gave her a small smile and nodded, absentmindedly watching the students walking by. "Yeah... my grandmother lives there and she has this beautiful little greenhouse. It's pretty much her entirely life," he explained. Yep, gardener granny was cool. But Louis didn't want to talk about his grandmother - or his personal life, really. He was a boring subject.

"So how's my favourite model doing since the last time we saw each other?" he asked, blue eyes returning to her smiling face. "You seem to be dealing with the new look better than me," he added, referring to the grey hair that covered his head but was barely noticeable on the Hufflepuff. Perhaps it was because her hair was so blonde already.

"I would absolutely love to!" Emma grinned, flattered that the girl was asking her to join her in future endeavors. "I'm sure it would be tons of fun. I'm no stranger to skating." She nodded, listening to Lux as they discussed the Ancient Runes professor. "Yeah, he seems friendly enough.." She agreed, hopping up and walking over to another empty snow spot.

"Not really," she grimaced, making a face. Sure, she liked the glow that came from tanning, but it was always so much effort for to to lay in one place for any amount of time. "I mean, I like the sun... I just have a hard time staying still in the sun for so long for a tan that will easily fade anyway.." She replied, matter of factly.

"I like to go swimming or tubing though, that's always a good time."

Oh, yaaay!

Lux was happy as she carefully moved off from her angle and set down to start making a new one. "That is awesome, and now I will have being a good skater to look forward to." And Emily had Chocolate Frogs to look forward to, because that was what Lux was going to give her when they went skating. "All the staff seems nice. I like Professor Flamsteed, he gave me tea and talked to me." Professor Flamsteed was so nice.

Hmmm, she supposed she could understand why Emma did not like to tan. Honestly, she herself was not all that concerned with it though she did tan in the summer when she was out in the sun. "The sun can be icky. I like swimming and playing sports." Being active was what she loved. "But what do you mean by tubing?" She had never heard of that one before.

"Of course, I approve. I love flowers.. Roses mostly. I'm glad you remembered." Delilah said, smiling. They were just so pretty! And she quietly listened as Lou said how his grandmother has a greenhouse in France. Oh, that was so cool! She had a small garden of her own back home that she really missed. She finally looked back up at him, resting the flowers on her lap. "I would love to meet your grandmother. I'm pretty sure we would have loads to talk about." And maybe, she could give Delilah some tips on gardening too?

Favourite model. She couldn't help but look slightly pleased at that. Oh, yeah. How was she doing? Not so good. "Really tired. I feel like crap most of the time.. My body just hurts, you know? It's obviously something to do with the old-age disease." UGH! Couldn't they find a cure for it already? "Well, there are just a few grey strands here and there.. They can't be seen." And how thankful she was for that! Meanwhile, Lou was definitely aging fast... She hesitated for a moment before running her fingers lightly through his hair.

"I can charm it back to it's original colour, if you want. It won't stay for long but.." Something was better than nothing, yeah? Yeah.

Louis chuckled softly when Delilah came to the conclusion that she'd have a lot in common with his grandmother. "Right. Perhaps one day," he said, burying his hands into his coat. It was freezing. But the snow was nice to look at; for him, anyway.

The boy looked over at Delilah as she explained how awful she felt. Yep. Sounded like old-people-disease symptoms. "If it makes you feel any better, you'd make a very a successful old-lady model. You could model for, like... y'know, vintage things. World War II posters..." He laughed lightly, obviously just teasing the poor girl. Aw, he felt bad now. "No, but you're really handling it well. I'm sure the school will come up with a solution before we all hit the grave."

And now Delilah was running her fingers through his grey hair. Lou smiled and his eyes closed for a moment. That felt... sooooo goooood. He could just curl up like a cat and fall asleep right there. But he snapped back to reality as she spoke, suggesting to charm his hair back to its natural colour. His eyes widened at the thought of getting his beautiful dark hair back. "You could do that?"

Delilah had more questions about his grandmother, though. About HIM. Where was he from? Where did he live? Was he French? Did he have siblings? But she remained quiet. Maybe later. She grinned at him and lightly nudged his leg with hers. Because she was so very mature.. Yep.

"How is that supposed to make me feel better?" Old-lady model? She still had so much to do before she became an old lady, you know. Graduate, have a career, get married, have kids..... SO much. She wasn't ready to be old, yet. Just NO. But unfortunately, she could do nothing about it. "You're really sweet, though.. Thank you." Handling it well.. right. He didn't need to know that she cried to herself every night. Nope.

She giggled when he closed his eyes. He liked it, didn't he? Hmm. Maybe she should do this more often. Ahem. "Yeah.." Delilah nodded and gave a light shrug of the shoulders. "I definitely can..." And then, she smirked. A little. ".. but would I get anything in return?" Kidding. She'd do it for free, obviously. But she liked teasing him.. so. This was going to be fun.

Louis laughed aloud when Delilah complained about his lame attempts at consoling her. She seemed to appreciate his efforts, though, and he smiled as she thanked him.

His eyes lit up when Delilah confirmed she could, indeed, charm his hair. BUT. Not without some sort of payment. Louis laughed again. "Nothing is ever free with you, is it, Lady D?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at the girl. He had a feeling his Hogwarts career would be filled with debts. Sigh. How could he say no to her, though? "You can have whatever you want," he assured her with a small smile.

Delilah raised an eyebrow. Did he really just tell her if she could have whatever she wanted? All the possibilities and thoughts...... Hm. She blushed suddenly and looked down at the flowers for a moment. Oooooh! She thought of something.. Something that he would like, hopefully.

"Fine. I'm going to be sneaking into the Prefects bathroom sometime this weekend." 'Cause it had been super fun the first time and she had was planning on doing it again. It was simply the best place to hang out. With the HUGE tub and all.. She was already excited thinking about it. Mhm. "Come with me."

Louis's smile slowly transformed into something of a grimace as he watched Delilah's giddy expression turn thoughtful. TOO thoughtful. Uh oh. What had he just gotten himself into? He'd sort of been assuming she'd ask for more flowers or something. But her mind seemed to be elsewhere.

Prefects bathroom. This weekend. Come with me.
Louis stared at her with saucer-sized blue eyes. Whaaaat? "You want me to..." he didn't get it. "Bathe with you?" His cheeks turned a light shade of pink, but he didn't look away from the girl, his expression incredulous.

.............................. BATHE with him? What.

Delilah's face turned bright red as she stared at him. Of course. That came out completely wrong. Not that she.... Never mind. "No, you doofus! I meant, we could just swim together, wearing proper swimsuits." Just to get that clear, you know. "They have this massive bathtub and it's.. kind of.. awesome.Oh, gosh...." She was STILL blushing... Oh, no. Delilah buried her face in her hands.

Louis listened attentively as Delilah explained they would be swimming, with swimsuits. Swimming in a bathroom?! He didn't understand. The boy had never even heard of a prefects' bathroom before, so it was all a little puzzling. But he trusted Delilah.

"Oh. Oh, that's--that's fine, then," he said with a soft chuckle, looking away at the snow and feeling rather embarrassed for the misunderstanding. When he looked at the girl again, her face was hidden away in her hands. Awwwww. He shoved her gently with his shoulder. "Hey... it's not nice to hide that face."

"I'd hoped so." Voice fading off, she stared at the gift as she relaxed upon the snow, though the sudden shudder that zipped down her back made her quite aware...they were sitting in snow. Oh so smart. Moving around, which was a bit difficult cause winter clothes!, she moved to her feet.

"Come on." she said, brushing off the snow from her boots and jeans and...everywhere. "Ve still haff a days vorth of fun to do and ve're starting late."

Delilah didn't feel so enthusiastic about sneaking off to the prefects bathroom anymore. She knew that her face was still red.. but she couldn't help it. She probably should have just gone with him giving her a proper kiss. Yeah. That probably would have been much embarrassing, seriously.

"Uh... it's okay if you don't want to go. I mean... I understand." She bit her lip nervously. Eeeek. She looked up a him and frowned. "Why? What's so special about my face.

Louis listened - or tried to - as Delilah spoke into her cupped hands. She said something him not wanting to go? "No, no, I'll come," the boy replied, shaking his head. "I just-- I got, um. Confused." Ahem. Well can you blame him? It wasn't everyday someone invited him to hang out in a bathroom.

As Delilah finally looked up, he smiled at the sight of her rosy cheeks. Now she was questioning him about his liking her face.

"It's a nice face," he replied simply, seriously, before chuckling softly. "I just think it's silly to hide. You're a model. You should be showing it off."

He began to search his charmed breast pocket for something, anything, to put his solar system in for safe keeping. Finding a small container that had held some biscuits previously, he dumped the crumbs out on the snow and set his gift inside. There, that should keep it safe.

"Does this mean my snow angel passes your inspection?" he asked. To be honest, he couldn't even tell where their snow angels were at now thanks to the falling snow and their movements. Regardless of her response, he reached for his cane and began to pull himself up off the frozen ground. "Do you want to build a snowman?" he hummed.

Brushing off most of the remaining snow that she could see, she started to fix her hat as her gaze traveled down to Airey's...snow angel? Part snow angel. At least. Hers didn't look much better. Hand prints, foot prints...among other things.

"It's perfect." Really.

Rubbing her hands together, she smiled a little and hooked her arm with the astronomy professor's when he was steady on his feet, humming along to the tune. "It doesn't haff to be a snowman." Benefited both of them, right? Hooking arms. Slippery places on these grounds.

He could see it now since he was standing, but the 'head' of his angel was...well...that. "Well, thank you," he chuckled. "Yours is better though."

He wasn't going to say the next part of the tune out loud. That was the last thing he wanted to happen right now and instead tugged her a little closer as they walked a little away from their snow angels. "Whatever you want."

Which was not part of the song, but oh well. No rush on the snowman. They had all day.

Confused. Of course.. Delilah turned away from him, her face flushing even more. For reasons. Ahem. And then he agreed. She nodded and answered, still looking away. "Fine. Only if you actually want to. I don't want to sound like I'm forcing you or anything.." Yeah. Maybe they shouldn't do this after all.

"Well, thanks. I like my face too." Delilah raised an eyebrow. A model? HER? Yeah, right. She shook her head but remained quiet. She still felt rather awkward about earlier.. and yeah.

"Well..." Louis started, "I want to go, but I won't if you don't do your part of the deal." He raised his eyebrows at the girl and pointed at his hair. AHEM. Remember that? He neeeeded his dark, dark hair back. He never realized how much it meant to him until it was gone. Well, at least he wasn't bald.

When Delilah expressed love for her own face, the boy nodded approvingly. "As you should."

..... Right. "I promise. I'll do it right now, if you want." Delilah always lived up to her promises. She took out her wand from the back pocket of her jeans and turned towards him. With a swish and flick of her wand... THERE. She couldn't help look a little smug as she watched Lou's hair turn dark. See, she was pretty good with Charms.

"Happy now?" Delilah tapped his forehead with her wand, a small smirk playing on her lips. "You look goooood."
