One of the corridors on the third floor is home to a large collection of armour. Be careful not to touch or the caretaker, Finn, may give you detention to clean up your fingerprints (and everyone else's). Also, did you know the armour moves? It's also heavily armed.

"Really? How so? Walk? Patrol? Tap dance?" He sort of maybe wanted to see a tap dancing suit of armor.

She would have to see what this boy had in mind, speaking of which. He was staring at her, so she raised an eyebrow at him in question.
"Fine, but please be kind to her," she whispered quietly, glancing back at Lux with concern. She nodded, frowning as he pushed past her. She waited a moment and then took her own way around, leaning against one of the columns in the room as she watched the interchange between Lux and this older boy. So far, so good... she just hoped it continued to go well. When he winked at her, she gave a small smile and the barest of nods- he would notice, but Lux wouldn't. She had to admit, she was curious about this story too.

When an older boy stepped into view from out of nowhere, Lux looked between him and Tessa with even more confusion on her face. Who was he? And where did he come from? She had not seen him in this room until now, and he had stepped out from where Tessa had been.
She looked at her friend curiously until she explained that she had dropped something. "Oh, what did you drop?" She was just curious, she did not think that Tessa was lying to her or anything.
Turning her attention to the boy, she smiled weakly. "Hey there. I'm okay, but where did you come from?" That was seriously confusing her! She could have sworn she hadn't heard her come in when her and Tessa were talking to the statue. "I didn't know that knights couldn't boast of their quests. But I would like to hear the story!"

Tessa gave Lux a nod of reassurance. She approved of this boy... for now. He seemed genuine in trying to prevent a meltdown from Lux, which Tessa had thought was imminent. But now, the boy was distracting her with stories.
This could just work.
She smiled at Lux's question. "Just a..." she patted her pockets. She had to have something... "Just this note from one of my classes. I rarely carry a lot with me, so this has notes on the lesson. Very important that I don't lose it," she said with a wry grin.
At the boy's introduction she smiled and gave a nod of greeting. She would introduce herself better later, unless Lux said her name. That would be fine. She grinned as he began to get excited again for the story. She leaned forward slightly, and laughed softly as Asher pointed at her for the age comparison.

Lux nodded at Tessa and smiled. It seemed weird that she would have lost notes in here, but she knew that Tessa was an honest person so she would not make up something. "Well, I'm glad you found it then!" She did not want Tessa to have lost something that was important.
Turning her attention back to the boy who had introduced himself as Asher, she nodded enthusiastically. She wanted to hear all about the adventure the knight had when he was younger.

Adeline crossed her arms while looked at the suits of Armour along the corridor, they were quite amazing really, it must have been hot and uncomfortable to fight in those suits, it was just amazing how time just seemed to change since those medieval days. Adeline let her arms down at her sides when she heard a voice. She turned to the sound and smiled, it was that seventh year boy that she had met at the Gryffindor table during the feast. "Hey." she smiled and waved a little with her right hand.

Mitchell continued looking at the suit. It seemed very boring actually. No movement whatsoever. He then laid out on the floor right in front of it. "I guess I'll just lay here and wait for it then."

Lucas made a face at Lux's head as she replied to the SUIT OF ARMOUR instead of him. Hmph. But when she got it, the fanfare was definitely met with enthusiasm. He grinned at her exclamation and hugged her back.
"HIIII," he replied, beaming. The Gryffindor had the decency to look apologetic as she spoke and grimaced, reluctantly. "I didn't want to intrude.. Sander looked like he had it covered." He let out a low whistle of relief as she demonstrated her healed wrist. "So you'll still be playing Quidditch and all? How's that going, then?" What had he gotten up to...? Lucas made a face.
Did almost getting eaten by an Acromantula count as 'fun'? Hmm. "Oh.. met a few unfriendly spiders. I blew up my planet in Astronomy like SEVENTEEN TIMES. But other than that. Not much. What about you?"

She was definitely glad that he was one of her best friends! Hopefully there won't be a next time, but if there is... I would really like that." She had missed her little shy buddy. "The Quidditch is going okay. I am slowly getting better and better about the flying thing." Though of course it was still definitely a fear, it got easier and easier each time she tried.

Lucas nodded and tried his best not to beam with glee that she didn't completely hate him. "Next time just hit me reaaaally hard if I'm being stupid. Like. Well. Yeah." Like hard so he wasn't always acting so stupid. "So you've flown then! Are you up to flying with meeeee?" he asked, cautiously. "Promise I won't let you get hurt this time. I'm actually.. well, not as good as like some of the players here, but like decent." Hah. That was definitely playing down the truth. Uh huhhhhh.
Oh. Shudder. The Lion made a defiant pouty face. "Abbi and I almost got eaten by a giant hungry Acromantula. Like Daddy Spider. More like Granddaddy. It was bigger than me." He conveniently held back the part about going for a stroll in the Forbidden Forest. But it seemed Lux could trump him with her news.
"K-Kissing!?" Hadn't she said something about hitting whoever tried to kiss her? "Did.. did they get hurt?" THIS WAS SERIOUS BEST FRIEND NEWS AND SHE HADN'T TOLD HIM. "Are you dating someone, hmmmmmm?!"
